People had been wondering why they hadn't done it. He said they shouldn't until they receive the word to do so. It sounds like this is the word to do so.

Will they stand up and reclaim their country?

Every time people do rise up in a country, it gets blamed/diminished as a CIA op (think Ukraine). There's just no winning.

Trump made remarks on that very thing beginning early on. And surely at minimum a couple explanations/reasons, in short order, come to mind as to why they would need to wait until a certain window in time to kick off any such organized effort/offensive. Yeah no? No yeah? And I don’t mean to tag you here, not at all. Gotta stick together with the majority Trump haters around us……..on the “pro-Trimp echo chamber” they ignorantly call the board.

Well, I've heard tale that they have resumed arming the Kurds. Hopefully conditions have changed in our favor.

Something else to consider is that the IRGC recently had to call their military in to surround government buildings and also issue warnings to the citizens. So the citizenry isn't just pacified. They're clearly pissed off. "Galvanized the country against us." If that were true they wouldn't be guarding their buildings with troops and threatening to kill protestors.

Also, Iran is out of gasoline. People are parked along the streets in miles long lines camping in their cars hoping to get gas.

Honestly, I believe the administration, and its operators, agents and assets possibly in Iran, were taken by surprise by the level and extent of our own citizens’ (including even many supposed “conservatives” amongst us) openly trashing the military effort, which contributed (or spurred) MSM’s own same actions, but to an international audience, including I’m sure compilations of nonstop examples shown relentlessly by the regime in Iran. Which of course leads to diminishing confidence that America as a country is up for it and instead a bunch of pussies.

Thus we could have been trying relentlessly ourselves to “set something up” in this arena, but the embedded assets/contacts may well be reporting back “we’ve been met with reluctance and distrust by vastly more potential insurgents than we initially predicted.”

Feel me on that?

Trump screwed up - he gave the Iranian people reason to believe that he’d have their back but sat on his hands while they got massacred

I love Trump and support him, but am still disappointed by this

I support this war/military action, I just wish it had been started sooner

I hope the Iranian people do rise up, but we should have stepped in way before we did

I think if anything got fricked up in this ordeal it's that when we began arming the Kurds they stole all the weapons. The way I heard it is that they were supposed to smuggle arms into Iran and put them in the hands of anti-IRGC types and instead they just kept them.

It's not totally surprising either. We have fricked them over in the past.

But whatever the issue was there it seems it has been rectified because they are once again arming the Kurds and apparently the Kurds are moving into Iran this time. So hopefully it goes well. But if there has been a miscalculation, it was there, imo.

But hey, whatever. We have lost very few lives in this effort and we can play the waiting game a hell of a lot longer than they can. Let's just make sure we get it right moving forward.

Yeah, like I was just saying, even before all of that happened our CIA was arming the Kurds. They were anticipating this stuff. It appears that those plans got changed by the Kurds themselves who just kept the weapons instead of smuggling them into Iran. I do think there was probably a miscalculation there and that sucks. But hey, shite happens in war. "No plan survives first contact with the enemy."

Just get it right moving forward.

If it doesn’t go completely to plan, pre-war plan that is, then it’s a failure. All successful wars did and do so.
