How many ICE agents have been harmed by American citizens? How many American citizens have been harmed by ICE agents?

One side is "threatening to harm". (yeah right, they arent the ones carrying guns).

The other side just killed an american citizen and shot another ones eyeball and turned them blind in the past handful couple days.

Wrong.

I am not against enforcement of immigration and customs laws. I am against the State gunning down citizens in the street.

Tax the rich

It's not far left to want the rich to be taxed. Everyone has to have "skin in the game", even the rich, right?

Besides, I don't think relying on just taxing the poor would provide much revenue.

But ultimately, revenue isn't the problem. Spending is the problem.

Funny thing, 77.3 million people may have voted for it, but 77.9 million people actually voted against it.

MAGA didn't even get 50% of the popular vote.

The Whiskey Rebellion and hunting down Aaron Burr don’t have any correlation to Minnesota.

There is a high legal threshold for “insurrection” or “rebellion”. And protests are not necessarily riots.

But the Insurrection Act is certainly a hot button topic today for Constitutional Scholars and Lawyers today. Many are suggesting reforms are needed to restore the appropriate balance of power as was originally intended.

Also keep in mind that in 2025, The Supreme Court ruled that Trump had no legal justification for sending National Guard troops into Chicago.

Had he invoked the insurrection act?

see. Only a far left wacko would describe what happened as this. thanks for proving my point.

48 percent of this country don’t have “skin in the game.” The top 1% pay about 40% of revenues. So yes. Wanting to tax the rich more is far left.

No. Are you implying that no judicial review of invoking the Insurrection Act is possible?

Or that no review of the specific actions of those troops is possible?

Of course not. Just pointing out that you pointing out the 2025 ruling is irrelevant.

No what’s going on is several issues which are not the Trump administrations fault.
1. Illegal immigrants with deportations orders are shielded in these so called “sanctuary cities” by (Democrat) leftist leadership in those cities and states.
2. Due to their self declared “sanctuary” status, they openly oppose and defy the federal government’s attempt to remove criminal aliens with orders to deport.
3. They oppose and defy by not cooperating. In the following ways:
A. Will not hand over criminal aliens who have been arrested to ICE. Instead they release them on the streets and even shield them.
B. Due to their noncompliance, ICE is forced to go door to door to capture criminal aliens with orders to deport.
C. Sanctuary cities now openly endorse leftists groups like ICE WATCH. They encourage mobs to follow ICE and BP around to interfere and impede the arrest of criminal aliens.
D. They do not allow local law enforcement to assist ICE and BP with controlling the mobs of unruly rioters.
All of this makes for dangerous situations for everyone involved and if anyone should be blamed, it’s the Democrats running these cities and states.

Everyone knew that Trump's intent with the deployment of mass groups of ICE rambos was to create conflict. That is what they are doing. Since day-1 right wingers have been parroting Steven Miller's wet dream call for the Insurrection Act. At first it was in insurrection for people in Portland because they were wearing inflatable frog suits and playing drums. Now they are calling for combat in Minnesota against white midwestern ladies.

If only the state and local governments would listen to the detainment requests so ICE doesn't have to go door to door. Yet you say, Trump is trying for conflict.

THE LEFT POLITICIANS ARE PURPOSEFULLY NOT DETAINING ILLEGAL CRIMINALS TO INITIATE CONFLICT FOR THIS INDENTED OUTCOME. THEY 100% WANT SOMEONE TO GET SHOT.

So dullards like you can make utterly moronic comments.

In other words, go pound sand.

Of course. They request that these sanctuary cities don’t ignore ICE detainers. You have the chaos creators backwards.

There was no legit reason for Trump and Miller to go in so “heavy”. They just want the chaos and political theater. I think it’s going to backfire in the end.

One of the number one rules in politics is never become or feed into what your opponents paint you as.

I’m by no means against using the insurrection act but we must make sure we weight the consequences of it due to what I stated above vs benefit.
