By appointing RFK Jr to cleanup the FDA and food supply Trump has done more to improve the health of the average American than any president in my lifetime.

I really feel for MJF and respect his role in helping to fundraise for Parkinson’s but this was a horrible move:
A) it was a cheap shot. His situation isn’t Trumps fault and he hasn’t hindered research at all.
B) it was counterproductive. If he’s serious about wanting Trumps help attacking him publicly isn’t the way, in fact it’s likely to make it a personal issue rather than help to build support. If I were wanting Bidens support for Alzheimer’s research or whatever the last thing I would do is attack him on political grounds on Fox News.

Good lord.

How do grown arse adults develop mentalities like this?

Indeed. The fact that he deprived his kids of an almost fully functional dad(albeit through artificial means) is selfish to me.
The therapies suppress the symptoms....almost non existent when engaged. It truly is a remarkable feat.

Useful idiots.

Yeah, you know what would totally not be profitable? If a company came out with a cure for, lets say, diabetes tomorrow. They definitely wouldn't all be multi-millionaires (if not more) overnight

I get his interest but why should Parkinson's take priority over other diseases and illnesses? ALS sufferers and their families feel the same, I am sure.

Biden cured cancer, curing Parkinson’s is the least DJT could do.

Like cancer? Multi-billion dollar industry - good luck with that.

Joe Biden claimed me would cure cancer if elected. Not one liberal called him out for not finding the promised cure.

Im having trouble finding the article where MJF criticized Biden and Harris for focusing on flooding our country with illegals instead of curing his Parkinsons.

Just a reminder that Rush Limbaugh was right about Michael J. Fox and his altering of his meds so that he would shake more visibly when being interviewed. Of course the left (and some on the right) tried to crucify Rush over these comments, but MJF actually came out and admitted it. Something to think about.

Is Parkinson’s that widespread? I’ve only known one person who had it

To me Alzheimer’s should be more the focus

You are not wrong. If you had a loved one go through dementia, you would agree to focus there

A little inside information here. There are currently 3 companies providing Parkinsons therapy through deep brain stimulation. This is a treatment that mitigates the uncontrollable movements that often accompany the affliction. This is treatment, not a cure. The companies are: Medtronic

My father has Parkinson’s and has had a Medtronic DBS installed for about 5 years now. Without it, he would shake terribly and really wouldn’t be able to function. It’s crazy to watch it be turned off and on and see the difference in his body.
That being said, Parkinson’s is a dopamine disease and causes so many other complications in your body. It’s an awful disease to watch take over a parent.

Absolutely. Happy that he is being helped with this horrible disease.
