I think the can find that $327 somewhere in the $10k in property tax or $22k in fed income or $6k in state income or $5k in sales tax

The wall is dumb as frick, but I want it built and with Trump's name on every square of it as a monument to his presidency.
If you really want to cut down on illegal immigration, prosecute and imprison people who hire illegals. Meat processing plant execs, farmers, contractors, restaurants, hotels, folks at Home Depot parking lot who hire yard workers, etc.
That would shut it down, but it will never happen. Americans of all parties and stripes are addicted to the cheap labor. The wall idea is just to rally the morons.

I am paying now while we speak. Been paying into programs even the ones that are giving money away to illegals.. Sooooo, divert those monies to the wall. Sorry illegals, go home and then come back legally and pay taxes..."

It's an easy fix really. National sales tax. Disband the IRS, institute a national sales tax and suddenly the illegals are paying too. Build the wall, and so when they leave due to the sales tax they can't easily come back. It sets up wealthy people to poor people to pay their fair share. Wealthy buy bigger toys pay more taxes, poor do not buy as much pay less, and more take home. Course it's not perfect, but it'll catch every soul living in the US legal or otherwise.

I've been kinda wondering about that same thing. Just don't a national sales tax and doing away with income tax. I'm sure somebody has run the numbers and can explain why it's not being done, just been curious about it though.
