so all of MAGA wants a president that just spends money to move things for no other reason than "I don't like the Democrats of that state"?
He said that is the reason of the move. So won't the next D president just do the same and move it back? This is messing with entire city economies all on the whims of the president.

He's yanking it away from woke Colorado, and not a moment too soon.

It being sent to Colorado was political bullshite from the beginning.

I happened to be by a television when the announcement was being made. Trump consoled Tubberville because Alabama lost. Someone had to point out to him that Tubberville coached Auburn , not Alabama. The senator probably just has to just pretend that he is unhappy because Alabama lost.

Exactly. The true home of Space Force and NASA has always been Huntsville and Redstone.

Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, a Democrat who is running for governor in 2026, said in a statement Tuesday his office has been preparing for legal action over a Space Command relocation if Trump “made such an unlawful decision.” Weiser said military families in El Paso County have relied on the decision to keep Space Command headquarters in Colorado.
“The Trump administration should not play political games with our nation’s military readiness and military families,” Weiser said in a statement. ”Moving Space Command Headquarters to Alabama is not only wrong for our national defense, but it’s harmful to hundreds of Space Command personnel and their families.”
Who could have seen this coming?

It was slated to be located in Huntsville from the start… Biden nixed it for the exact reasons you gave but opposite parties.

One of the reasons, if not the main reason, stated for nixing the move of the FBI National Training Headquarters to Huntsville was a lack of infrastructure. That wouldn't have included anywhere near the 30,000 number that is being moved with Space Force.
What is already a nightmare of moving all the people already here into and out of Redstone on a daily basis is about to get a whole hell of a lot worse.
So, while it is true that Huntsville is the best suited for Space Force, as far as the industry already here, it is not going to cope well at all with the influx of this many people. It is already well beyond what it was ever built to serve.

How many municipalities would like to have a problem like that?

Politics only. Colorado is blue. Trump is going to make them pay.

NIL, dude.
Now everyone can pay their players without fear of being punished, not just uat.
Now they have to coach them without just out-talenting everyone else to death.
Why the hell do you thik Saban quit?

Colorado made its bed.

Lack of workers who can pass a government drug test.
Lack of people you can actually trust, just look at their elected officials.

You need to listen to your dear leader talk. He is the one who said he is moving it because he doesn't like Colorado politics.

You act like there’s zero room for additional infrastructure. Huntsville isn’t downtown LA or midtown manhattan.

They need to add flights to Huntsville. For what it cost to fly there from DFW I can fly three times to Nashville, round-trip.
