First, the bill’s $1.5 trillion revenue loss, debt increase and stimulus was the absolute wrong fiscal policy with the economy so strong.
The economy wasn’t strong until after the tax cuts.
Tax revenue is currently at its highest ever.
We have a spending problem. That’s on Congress go fix

Forbes had no business giving your OP author a platform.
May be the most pathetic piece I've ever come across on the Forbes site . . . disclaimer or not.

Yeah he made some leaps in that. Trump deserves a lot of legitimate criticism but he wasnt hitting it

Yeah he made some leaps in that.
The OP bullshite artist also wrote this: Obama Gains Credibility as a Deficit Cutter.
Forbes has no excuse for allowing him on the site.

quote:thinking that the president is responsible for congress' spending is stupid
Looking at the national debt in absolute numbers, instead of the percentage increase, is imbecilic
trump just called for a 5% cut across the board but people are calling him irresponsible. just out of curiosity, what presidents have done that?

Facts don't matter here, as long as MAGA
quote:trump did his job - got govt out of the way. now business is booming. congress is NOT doing their job - cut spending. it's so bad, trump called for a 5% cut across the board. he's trying. congress, not so much.
they can still live in their fantasy world for a brief moment in history
so talk to me about fantasy again
