Trump loses his base if he signs this bill

No way we stick behind him. This bill is horrible. There is NOTHING in it for the GOP. National emergency isn’t going to solve it, it will take well past 2020 to get through courts after libs block it. If he signs this bill he loses 2020 and the national emergency is rescinded. The Wall must come from Congress. Veto it and let Govt shut down, his supporters will back him. Put pressure on the Dems.
If he cucks out he is done and loses all negotiation ability in the future.

He will lose the enthusiasm of some of his base. He got beaten in this "negotiation." It's not as if they'll vote for the democrat opponent, they simply won't show up.

How so? He did get $$$ for the wall in the face of Nancy who went from $0 to $1 and he will get the rest in another manner.
Also, if his base is complacent in 2020 with so much at stake and allows for a fringe prog Dem to get in office by sitting on their asses then they are no better than those pathetic "Never Trumpers" we discussed yesterday. This, listen to this board. He could come out saying the 2A is a sham and we need to turn our guns in and 90% of the people on here would find ways to justify it to themselves. There’s no guiding principles of thought. Just chearleading.
What Trump is going to lose is everyone in the center. People who think the progressives are way too far to the left but now see a president circumventing congress to get his way.
