Either of which should be a good thing if you're hoping to see someone gain ground on him in the primary, right?

Why would I want the latter to be true when I have continually said that he is inevitable?

His base is not leaving him.

There could literally be a Bible verse saying Do not vote Trump and it would get twisted into and endorsement in their mind.

The only way he is not inevitable is if the polls are a massive gaslighting campaign by the MSM to get the candidate they want.

I don’t think they are, even if they are exaggerated I think it would take a two candidate field to have any sort of chance which isn’t going to happen.

So all I am left with is the hope that he shows some sign of maturity and one ounce of being able to show that he has figured out how to play politics and almost every time his team lets him out of his basement he destroys that hope.

The number 1 policy that should be at everyone’s top of the list is immigration. Everything else depends on this ( crime, healthcare, education, unfettered welfare and the economy).

Without good immigration policy, your country is doomed. Look at our new imported Hamas supporters.

Trump has the toughest stance on immigration and that is what we need.

What did Trump accomplish on the border that wasn't easily reversed on Day 1 by Biden? It's one thing to have the right policy, and another thing to actually fix something.

How is his "stance" tougher than Vivek's? DeSantis's?

Not really

Had he not lost to Biden, Jared and Koch bros. alum Brooke Rollins would have been in charge of negotiating with Dems on immigration

Sometimes I have to think you are playing a character on this board and cant be serious.

You truly cant be trying to play equivalence between a Republican Presidential candidate bashing and whining about a primary endorsement by a Republican governor to anonymous internet message posters regarding a twitter journalist.

This is an act right?

Shouldn't you be dancing in the streets that he seems to be sabotaging his chances? Won't that be what the polls there start to show?

Because if he wins the nomination the preference is still Trump over Biden. And continuing to sabotage his chances is not a desirable outcome if he does it in the general election.

It's a fricking shame that millennials shoved the LGBTQ agenda down the throat of this country so that it is now popular. If it weren't for them, Trump would have no chance at the nomination. If this were 15 years ago, Trump would be fricking finished in the GOP for embracing Bruce Jenner, whom he refers to as Caitlyn, and says "she" can use any bathroom "she" wants and prancing around with the rainbow flag.

it is well documented that he attacks other successful Republicans FAR more than any Democrat.

He hates DeSantis, Reynolds, Kemp, and Youngkin because they aren't sufficiently sycophantic and they outperformed him in their states. They're also more conservative than Trump is.

Don't forget that Trump was bashing DeSantis 3 days before the 2022 Election. Trump and his sycophants were so upset when Charlie Crist lost. Mike Lindell went on his radio show right after and said DeSantis only beat Crist due to voter fraud. Charlie Kirk, Jack Poso, and the other MAGA grifters were angry at DeSantis on election night. They should've directed their anger at Trump and the terrible candidates that he hand-picked.

And amnesty was on the table.

Trump was more than happy to trade that with the dems to get something else.

So Donald records the video reading intentionally off a teleprompter.

Team Trump posts it to twitter

Yet we are the ones at fault for bringing attention to the idiocy.

You are admitting its a bad look but that its our fault for "highlighting it"

The mind of the cult.

It's fricking sad how mentally weak the GOP base is. The Democrats are supposed to be the party that embraces General Election losers.

Jimmy Carter - still worshipped after getting bent over by Reagan

Al Gore - adored for his takes on global warming despite losing the 2000 Election

John Kerry - still adored and referred to as the "Climate Czar" after losing to GWB

HRC - still worshipped by the feminists and the identity-politics obsessed faction of the Democratic party despite losing in 2016

Historically, we've told General Election losers to frick off and never show their face again in politics. Romney, McCain, Dole, HW Bush, etc. And unlike Trump, George HW Bush was actually screwed during his re-election bid. He had to contend with a Republican businessman that ran 3rd party and took away millions and millions of his votes. But yet we still told Bush to frick off, and rightfully so.

Why are we not being consistent? Trump got crushed by a dementia patient and sabotaged our chances of keeping the Senate. He CELEBRATED when far-left Michael Bennet won re-election in Colorado. He shouldn't be able to show his face in GOP politics ever again. It's a shame how mentally weak our base is.

It's fricking unbelievable that he not only gave his liberal son-in-law a voice in his administration, he allowed him to negotiate and attempt to dictate (liberal) policy.
