That ain't no lie. Just think how good he could be if he focused that energy on something that is actually worthwhile

That’s nice. But when will the whistleblower complaint be provided to Congress?

Oh. We’re back to covering up a crime that was never committed...again.

Y’all are fricking pathetic

I hope this actually sets a precedent. All phone calls not involving sensitive national security should have full transcripts released.

That goes for Congress too.

Nah, it's the fact that he asked for the investigation of a specfic person... who is political rival.

Let's assume this is true - which is unlikely - then what was all the FISA abuse and spying on Trump and his campaign? That was just "good government" in your mind, right?

If so, then what's the big deal? We all want to know if our Presidential candidates are clean, right?

Oh - it's because it is Trump that is (allegedly) doing it in this case?

Got it.

Why doesn't the Trump admin let the whistle blower report go to congress?

Translation: Why can't we keep the contents secret so congressional vermin and media scum can run with lies, innuendo and threats for months on end? How dare the President undermine that by hiding behind complete transparency.

So the whistleblower who didn’t even hear the actual conversation firsthand is more believable than the official transcript that is unredacted?

Why not both?

Wouldn’t it be nice for the executive branch to quit obfuscating... that’s what y’all hate, right?

I would wait.

Let the democrat controlled media run with it, get all giddy about it, report “facts”, dig dig dig that hole and then WHAM! Release the transcripts and watch their house of cards fall again.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked TigerDC, please show me the statute requiring it.

Nice deflection. You’re arguing that there must be a statute that requires this information to be provided?

Fact of the matter is the executive branch is withholding a whistleblower complaint from Congress.

Uh, yes? That's how the law works?

And? Why should the executive branch release hearsay when instead they're releasing the actual transcripts? Which, by the way, they also do not have to do.

Yes there must be a statute you loon! We don’t get public and universal access to sensitive foreign policy or intelligence material because we are butt hurt about Mueller being a flop. Consider yourself lucky that your potus is releasing the full transcript so you don’t have to wonder.

Now Mcconnell agrees, congress should hear from the whistleblower.

MCCONNELL has hotlined the resolution calling for the release of the whistleblower report. Schumer asking for unanimous consent for its passsage.

Heresay isn’t admissible in court. While I am all about complete and utter government transparency, if I’m the White House I don’t want somebody passing off their interpretation of a call they weren’t on to be fed to a group that openly wants to impeach me.

Sure, I want to hear what they have to say, but I’m more interested in the actual phone call than a second hand retelling.
