He did. For awhile. But now he's back.
Trump tried to diplomatically say "Those people don't understand anything but violence" and it's angering those who scream that Trump can't be diplomatic.

It works for the MAGA base, but I don’t think the Kuwaitis will buy it.

I think he was overconfident with the Maduro operation. Bibi knew this and used it to his advantage.
I disagree. I think Trump knew Iran would continue to be an international disruption and make any efforts for plans to improve the situation in the ME(Abraham Accords). It's better to deal with this now rather than allow it to fester as past administrations have dine for the last 50ish years.

he should have gone to Congress.
Yea, that would have worked out so well.
We are not fighting, we are blockading and maintaining our forces in the region. I too was becoming frustrated but now am beginning to see a painstakingly slow strategy. We are not sending in ground troops to be cut up. And this is tough on the Iranian people but our military planners must think this is the best way.

it’s also apparently a peace deal materially indistinguishable from the JCPOA.

Act of war. It also follows 50 days of bombing.

To do what? Months long sustained military operations do not need to be conducted at the executives sole discretion

I’ve been patient. Nothing has happened and everything involved is worse than it was in January.
What about the operation would lead a rational person to believe there’s a plan at all, much less a good one?

It's amazing how Trump locks himself in a room all by himself with a phone and negotiates everything all by himself. The man does it all!

What is he so afraid of? How do you go from launching Operation Epic Fury with guns blazing, make "bridge and power plant day" threats to groveling at Iran's feet and coming off sounding completely neutered on this issue?
He's never going to please you TDS figs, no matter what he does.

And he knows that. Which is why he pays this particular cross section no attention whatsoever. He also knows this particular cross section is of no importance or significance and don’t make any difference to anyone, anywhere - thus, don’t waste any time on them.

I mean, I don't know. They hit a hangar, right? And unfortunately one person was killed?
Yeah, Iran targeted an intl. airport but really the damage is far less than what could have been. Was that the only inbound ordnance or were others intercepted? Iran clearly has the technology to very specifically target what they will. What if it had been a terminal or multiple gates? Was that the plan, but was thwarted by defensive measures?
But I'm still of the mind that, at this point and after multiple temporary agreements falling apart, we should just MOAB them relentlessly until submission. The lives of 40,000+ innocent protestors, man... it's difficult to just overlook.

You voted for Kamala Harris, lmao.

There's something in the works that we don't know about. Trump doesn't want to blow it all up now. And with a little droning and missile'ing from their side presents targets for our side. They go whoosh and then we go bam.

Lets just give it another month.
