Trump just said he’d like NFL protesters to meet with him about unfair convictions

I normally try and stay out of this crap, but I like that he would do that.

He acknowledged he would listen to them if they had friends or specific people they feel have been unfairly convicted of crimes and look at pardoning them.
I wonder if there’s a chance they’d actually meet with him?

Liberals always scream about starting a conversation, but when given the chance to sit down with the president, they all like hell naw

I like his "put up or shut up" attitude.

The only convictions we should be talking about to the kneelers is convicting them of terrorism

I mean if they get to actually sit down with the president and discuss issues I’d say kneeling for the anthem worked out pretty well for them

they hate him so much and blame him for shite that has been going on for years and that Obama did absolutely nothing about. I doubt they come thru because of their hatred for our president. They would rather keep an unjustly punished relative or friend in jail than to have to thank the president for doing the right thing.

OR - going to show they are all just shite-talking - having no real instances.

I will look forward to what these cretans do with that offer - maybe I will be surprised and discover a flood of poor innocents in prison for being black.

pn the other hand, it may be fun seeing the pathetic 'instances of police brutality' brought forward that are fueling all this angst - I am preparing my W.T.F? expression.

yeah, all of those libs who claim these protests start a conversation would be the first to tell the protesters not to talk with Trump.

this is a win/win for Trump and he knows it

if they meet with him, he can use it as good press

if they refuse, he can still use it as he tried and they don't won't to talk

smart

Yeah I'm sure that was their master plan all along.

yeah luckily he has shown he doesn't give one frick about pardoning somebody for using drugs so that's lots of leverage

i imagine they will respond with some sort of vague, "institutional" enemy that can't be directly addressed by Trump (or anyone)

I like the fact that Trump is pardoning people in the heart of his presidency instead of waiting to the end of his term. Waiting until the end of your term is cowardly.
