You’re not remotely addressing DeSantis. You’re simply blowing Trump and saying how great he is.

Goddammit.

This is like being the head coach of a PeeWee football team. You’re playing for the championship and your nephew is the QB. He’s good, but he shits the bed occasionally. He throws interceptions sometimes and fumbles occasionally. He’s got heart, is a good kid and wants to win, but he’s not an elite athlete and his knowledge of the game is lacking. You have another QB who was injured for the majority of the season but is 100% healthy now. He’s played cleanup duty in the last couple of games and was absolutely flawless. He is easily the best player in the league. Exceptional athlete, speedy, elusive, great arm and accuracy, knows the game inside and out, is coachable, modest and fiercely competitive and a born leader.

You’re playing a good team in the championship who beat you in the regular season on a very controversial penalty. Your nephew had a decent game against them but did not make enough plays to win outright. You’re conflicted as to who to start in the championship. You love your nephew because he’s a good kid and he’s gotten you this far, and you “think” if he has a great game, you can win.

On the other hand, you “know” if you start the other kid , you will win. The kid is unstoppable. There’s no way the other team can stop him. It’s a lock.

So who do you start?

The moral of the story is this. frick your feelings for your nephew. You go with the best QB that gives your team the best chance of winning. Be pragmatic, be smart. frick your loyalties or feelings. Play to win.

DeSantis is the best QB in the league. He will win. Can’t say that for Trump.

Nope. It's not like that at all.

It's like saying the Sr Qb that is producing and winning needs to be replaced with a freshman.

Once again for the hundredth time. I love Trump and appreciate what he has done for the country. I voted for him twice. I believe the election was stolen.

That being said, Trump is too polarizing and his negative numbers are too high for me to have any confidence that he would win the presidency again. Be honest with yourself, for every person that loves Trump and would vote for him, there’s a fricking housewife, minority or millennial that will never vote for him. I will never believe Biden got 81 million votes, but he got almost as many as Trump. I think you’re underestimating the amount of hate and fear these morons have and how many there are.

DeSantis will win in a landslide if nominated. I’d put Trumps chances at 50/50. I don’t want to take those odds.

But I know what baggage Trump has, and it’s bad. You’re telling me to choose Russian Roulette with him when I’ve got an ace in the hole with DeSantis. You are in a cult and talk just like a Leftist. Stop worshipping him and get back to what would be best for the country, and that is clearly DeSantis.

Did you hear yourself just then?

For every person that votes for Trump a minority will .. thats the mentality of the old GOP.

It wasn't that group that reached out. It was Trumps people.

It still is Trumps network.

The hate that you are talking about is the dem party and they are going to push that hate on to whomever the candidate is.

If Trump decides to not run, then the option will present itself.

If he runs, he will carry states you would not think. He will landslide.

We would be throwing away 4 years of reversing what the left has done.

And we will make the right choice.

It won't be made by who the media picks. You know. Romney, McCain...etc..

Not happening.

No he won’t.

Dude, he is too polarizing. You are living in a bubble or need to get out more. His chances of re-election are 50/50 at best.

I fear that you are correct, and Trump will be the nominee. I hope not, though. I think that much of the hatred of Trump is irrational, but he is a grade A a-hole. It was fun watching him smack around the smarmy-mouthed media, but a second term of Trump would be very ugly for America. Also, I think he might lose the general election, which would probably be an easy win for a different Republican.

I know right, he is just too darn mean. You sound like every single stick up their butt rino R before 2016 and before 2020. Remember, Hiliary had a 90 something % chance of winning the day before. The potato led in the polls the whole way, by good margins.

I guarantee you the media doesn’t want him as the nominee. All he’d do is trash them like Trump, not do the same frick ups as Trump, and wouldn’t bring in the ratings like Trump. They either want Trump for the ratings or Nikki Haley.

I’d say after all this shite he’s 75/25 now, but DeSantis barring mass, mass obvious rigging it’s like 99%.

Personally, I don’t give a frick about his mean tweets or comments, but a frickton of women and soy men do, who might otherwise support him if not for that.

Once again dumbass, I eagerly voted for him twice, and would a third time, but I don’t think he’s a lock to win, and don’t want to chance it.

I’d lay my entire net worth on DeSantis to win though. Get Don’s cock out of your mouth and look at the reality of the situation.

You still believe all that. You believe that is what lost 2020? If you are that naive, don’t go betting your net worth.
I like Desantis ok, but I don’t know if he could hold up to a left onslaught like Trump. Maybe he can, but the left is worse than they have ever been and when the fake stories of indiscretion, or hopefully not real ones, come out, hope he is strong and stands up to it.

Anecdotal story here. I asked my sister who lives in Maryland. She’s not full libtard but leans left. I asked her if she would be willing to vote for Trump in 2024 after voting for Biden in 2020. “No fricking way” was her answer.

I asked her if should would vote for DeSantis in 2024. Her answer, “I don’t know a whole lot about him, but from what I’ve see, yes.”

BTW, she doesn’t like or defend Turnip Brain, but thinks he’s better than Trump.
