Haven't you wondered why Trump and his family are getting such valuable gifts and financing from Middle Eastern oil folks? Because he is attacking their competition, US producers.

Just sit back and think about you’re saying. You’re saying Trump is intentionally inserting policy that will hurt Americans for his own personal gain. That’s what you’re saying.

This isn’t Obama or Biden. If Trump wanted to intentionally hurt Americans he would have never brought DOGE in to expose the corruption. He wouldn’t have stopped gifting Ukraine billions monthly. He would have left the border wide open.

Just remember, you are taking the side of the e people that told you nearly every single day that the border was secure and that Biden was sharp as a tack.

DOGE will likely be a huge net negative for the US

This is so painfully obvious, yet one of the more common claims here is "I don't mind paying more for US-made items". Start drilling down into what items they actually buy that are made here and you find out the excuses are more plentiful than the examples.

How specifically will it be a net negative?

Now for actual data and not your made up anecdote.

Food inflation is close to 1%.

Been in the trucking business for 25 yrs now.
Keep fuel below 2.50 for over a year and watch prices of all goods drop.

Anyone that thought anyone could come in and bring down cosumer prices were ignorant.

Alot of things can be fixed quickly, like the boarder, but not getting the price of cereal down.

Until American companies are allowed to pay market value for skillsets and American workers are willing to work for market value, those jobs are going to continue to go overseas to keep the cost of goods and services competitive. Offshore work costs more in the end because the quality of work they produce is horrible. Useless code that US based engineers have to basically rewrite anyway.

We still pretending Trump adding $8 trillion to the national debt wasn’t a major contributor to inflation?

Groceries come down when energy costs come down. Energy prices are starting to come down. Are we there yet? NO, but are we on the right path? ABSOLUTELY
