I don't think he'll pick anyone who is in a valuable position, like Desantis being Gov of Fla. The V.P. is not as important as some other jobs.

Trump's only criteria. It's like DEI for a$$ kissers.

He's 77 years old. He needs to pick someone who could legitimately execute the office of President on day one just in case his health goes south.

Vivek ain't that guy. Rand Paul would be my pick.

He’ll be pressured to pick another establishment puppet. To “unite the party”.

That's why they are pushing for the black Pence.
The only thing Scott brings to the ticket is the establishment.

That, and the text OP got was actually just a fundraising text (that apparently worked).

I disagree, maybe in past elections I would agree but things have changed. Since Trump was elected the whole election process and the way the American people look at who is next up has changed. For the better IMO. Now folks look for a VP who can step in if needed or who can be given the torch after the POTUS's term is done. I think Vivek is next up

Do the same for Vivek

It's easy to discount a different opinion this way. The reality is Vivek, while amazing and wholly hell on the Left rhetorically, has no accomplishments in his past consistent with his newfound principles, has dabbled in things that run counter to them, and being new to conservatism should be viewed with some skepticism.

frick off with the boomer comments. And btw - Vivek is a lying, conniving crook. Look up how he made his millions. Buying failed pharmaceuticals then touting them as some miracle drug to investors, who bought in to his pitch, then mere days before the FDA announced the failed resubmitted clinicals, he sold his shares before the crash, leaving investors holding the bag. He's a scumbag that says what others want to hear.
