Yup. We might as well have Hillary as president right now. The outcome will be identical but with different messaging.

Let's not forget Obama bombed more countries than any Peace Prize winner in history.

It was Obama people running Biden’s administration. Weekend at Bernie’s. The Dems are Globalist Transnational Progressives, I.e., Marxists. They will strive to take down any nation or people that defend their freedoms and sovereignty.

What tactic are you talking about?

Standing by and watching Israel do Israel things?

Don’t get me wrong, I think his support of Israel while pushing for a negotiated settlement is the right move. But he isn’t the prime mover in this situation.

I know that Trump has done nothing wrong yet, but I'm voicing my objections as if he has already done the thing. I might should not do that.

Reread the Title of the OP. He's not 'standing by and watching Israel do Israel things'. Most of that equipment getting used was made here. We are almost certainly refueling them. We're shooting down missiles being shot at Israel.

But somehow, the perception is that we're not doing anything and this is outside his control. That's ridiculous. We're not "At War" but you couldn't tell it in Iran right now with all the American shite blowing their asses off.

So we are giving Israel support (weapons, logistics, etc)…like every president since the creation of Israel has done.

I’m not knocking him, but enough with the 4-d underwater hyper-dimensional chess.

Time will tell. I certainly hope this to be the case.

If the United States is not further enmeshed in this war in 6 months, I’ll gladly declare that Trump’s brinkmanship avoided war. Yet that the entire nation must wait on pins and needles for the next 2 weeks only underscores the point that no single politician should hold the fate of the nation in his hands.

This is exactly why the Constitution put in guardrails to prevent the concentration of such immense power in the hands of a single individual. Instead, the framers entrusted such war making power to “We The People” —those who would bear the burden of fighting and sacrificing — through our elected representatives.

I get that. But we also must be able to react in real time to reality as it's happening. And that's why we have that vote on who the executive will be and that's a nationwide decision. If Congress want's to limit that power they can write legislation or cut the purse strings but this Congress will never do anything ever so that's out. The Judicial can act on things that get brought to them by their sycophants in the lawfare community, but that's getting played out.

He's got the power right now to do this. And he's not doing this yet.

That's the reality of right now.
