Trump host’s Mother’s Day luncheon for mothers who lost children in service to our country

If tweet fails to load, click here. I honestly can’t stop thinking about what Donald Trump did today.
Inside the newly restored White House Rose Garden, President Trump hosted a Mother’s Day luncheon unlike anything most Americans have ever seen. Not for celebrities. Not for political elites. But for the mothers carrying the deepest pain imaginable.
Gold Star mothers who lost sons and daughters in service to this country.
Angel Moms grieving children taken from them far too soon.
Trump stood before them and called them what they truly are: heroic mothers.
One of the most emotional moments came when he spoke directly to Alicia Lopez, mother of Marine Corporal Hunter Lopez, who was killed at Abbey Gate at only 22 years old. Trump quietly said, “That should have never happened.”
He also honored Janice Chance, whose son, Marine Captain Jesse Melton, volunteered to take another Marine’s place. Trump repeated Jesse’s final words to his mother:
“I want to go change the world and make it an even better place.”
Then came the moment that broke the room.
Trump asked two grieving mothers a simple question:
“Does the pain ever get easier?”
Both answered the same way:
“No.”
And instead of speaking over them, he listened.
No politics. No performance. Just brokenhearted mothers being seen, heard, and honored.
This was actually Trump’s second Mother’s Day event this week — after already hosting military mothers earlier in the week. While most leaders post a message online, he chose to spend time with the mothers many people forget after the headlines fade.
Tonight, say a prayer for every mother who sat in that Rose Garden carrying unimaginable grief. May God hold them close and give them strength

As nice as this is, I mostly can’t wait to see the frustrated and angered responses from the 3-time Trump voters.

“Yea but he’s actually evil & might be the Antichrist. Israel forced him to do that luncheon.”

Props to Trump for this

That's my president. With all of his fault's, he is a caring person with a big heart. He has no idea what political beliefs the soldiers or their mothers have. He is honoring the mothers because of what they sacrificed. Unfortunately, the left will not appreciate it and somehow try to turn it against him.

Harris would have invited a bunch of Trans kids who were bought by rich gays.

Are you seriously getting pre-triggered by something that might get said?
Honestly, it's a nice gesture and I hope the day goes well.

Just watch & see how much media covers this. But don't watch & hold your breath too long.

Mr. President Trump has a big Heart and Empathy.
Just recently watched the documentary about the WWII D-Day Operation "Overlord".
Glory and eternal memory to the fallen Americans, British, Canadians and Allies who took part in this most difficult liberation operation.
Mothers Pride
Oh she knows
She takes his hand
And prays the child will understand
At the door they watch the men go by
In the clothes that daddy wore
Mother's pride
Baby Boy
His father's eyes
He's a soldier waiting for war
Time will come
He'll hold a gun
His father's son
And as he grows
He hears the band
Takes the step from boy to man
And at the shore she waves her son goodbye
Like the man she did before
Mother's pride
Just a boy
His country's eyes
He's a soldier waving at the shore
And in her heart the time has come
To lose a son
And all the husbands, all the sons, all the lovers gone
They make no difference
No difference in the end
Still hear the woman say your daddy died a hero
In the name of God and man
Mother's pride
Crazy boy
His lifeless eyes
He's a soldier now forevermore
He'll hold a gun till Kingdom come

More onions being cut up in here. I can't fully comprehend their pain.
