Don't let her, along with the MSM, create a narrative that he thinks this killing was ok.
Disarm the argument before it gets traction.
Kamala is not liked, but you allow her to gain some momentum, all bets are off.
Play the game to win. Once in the WH, he can ignore all the other instances.

they will do this ANYWAYS
he literally COMPLETELY CONDEMNED the "nazis" at the Charlottesville thing, remember? how did that turn out for him? he could come out with the most strongly worded statement against this cop, and it will STILL get spun into how he is actually a racist who supported the killing. by making a statement, he is acquiescing to playing by their rules.
there is literally nothing to gain.

This shooting isn't going to be a George Floyd situation. The cop was arrested and charged with murder, which it was.

As stated, the police state is on trial, this election. My son who doesn't follow politics at all, watched this during break on the graveyard shift. Trump should issue at statement condemning, and move forward, imo.

I remember not all that long ago (pre Obama) when the president had very little involvement with these types of events, these things were generally dealt with by state and local authorities.

If he says nothing.. the garbage media will complain.
If he says something.. the garbage media will twist and turn it and will try to use it against him.
All while praising his the (d) party no matter what they say.

If Trump's comments kill this story, then that's great for Trump and the GOP. Cheap and high reward.
If this narrative does take off, Trump will have started the narrative on the right side of the argument. Cheap and high reward.
It's an inexpensive strategy resource-wise with no downside and 2 potential high-reward scenarios (with no high-loss scenario).
The worst case is there is no reward, but there was only a cheap investment so that's not a big deal.
