Like most libertarians, he would open the borders, and then magically make the federal government stop using taxpayer money to buy votes from poor people, via housing assistance, unemployment benefits, free medical care, free college, and all the other taxpayer money being doled out to criminal illegals and leach citizens alike.

It's as if they believe the marxist/socialist republicans and democrats will simply evaporate.

Yeah, which get downvoted and ridiculed constantly for having a different opinion.

I've never understood the sensitivity to the green and red arrows. Are you seriously whining that people click a red arrow when they don't agree with something you've posted?

And the ridicule goes both ways. Problem for a Leftist is there are more conservatives participating here than liberals, and, frankly, liberals are pretty f'n stupid and post retarded shite all day long.

That’s not an echo chamber. That’s life. People disagree when they talk to each other. They downvote and ridicule just as much as they are downvoted and ridiculed. That’s not an echo chamber.

An echo chamber does not have differing opinions.

On other sites it’s a back door to censorship. On TD they’re meaningless. It’s another reason TD is the best website on the Internet

We have evidence that needs to be investigated. Do you agree that it needs to be investigated or do you think that we shouldn't investigate so that it is impossible have any proof? It has to be one or the other. Tell me which you agree with.

I think elections can always be run more securely, and we should always be reviewing the past, looking for ways to run it better in the future. This should be standard operating procedure.

I think if there is probable cause that significant voter fraud occured at the level high enough, in enough states, to change the actual winner, then that should be investigated.

quote:

We aren't to that point yet because for some crazy reason, the Democrats do not want any audits or investigations done.

If we aren't to that point yet, then all the "Trump won" and "the election was stolen!" posts are stupid and ignorant.

That's my point. Investigate if needed and then act on the result of that investigation. But too many fanbois are saying "Trump was robbed!" without proof that actually happened.

Maybe he was. Maybe we will find the proof. Hasn't happened yet.

An echo chamber also drowns out differing opinions.

A number of times I have not bothered posting something as I knew the reaction would be negative with little chance of thoughtful discussion.

I think the libs here just like getting people fired up. Or they are used to the abuse, like most soys.

You have to fold them to fit in the envelope where the signature page is, you dingus. That means that those ballots were never mailed and have no signatures to tie them to the voter.

Dude... you used to be a much better poster than this. What happened???

I saw ballot boxes on my tv with people putting unfolded ballots into them. Out on the street, etc.

That’s like a drivers license with no photo, address, or number on it! You wouldn’t accept as payment a check with no signature, no routing number, and no bank account number on it, would you?

Well personally I think a copy of the ID should be attached to the ballot, if you vote not in person. But that's not what the law says.

If the Democrats followed the law... then they could not have cheated. If we don't like the law... change the law.

So you’re a spineless pathetic wimp?

Refusing to voice your opinion unless you know for sure no one will argue with you is pathetic.

Cruz may fair a bit better than Paul but all he does is check boxes for the GOP. You’re trying to win a national election not a GOP primary. This is the problem with GOP voters you never think past the primary. Do you think Cruz can do it? I don’t. And you know how I know? Because he’s never been able to do it.

Cruz has won a primary and made it to a general presidential election?

I think Cruz - if he won the primary - could pull enough moderate votes to win the whole thing.

Nice ad hominem position.

I have no problem with people who disagree with me politically. I'd like to be able to change their minds through logic, not emotional BS, but understand that this is how many people make their decisions. I generally have problems with the direction they want to take this country and how they want to do it (using emotion, corrupt media, twisted logic, etc.).

If we’re assuming non-fraudulent elections, I don’t think Cruz is the strongest candidate for one reason: his voice. He has an annoying voice, and his speaking style makes him sound slimy and untrustworthy, like a used car salesman. Cruz is probably the smartest man in DC, and nearly always takes the right position on an issue. When he doesn’t, he’s usually got a damn good reason for doing so that’s worth listening to.

However, his voice when public speaking makes my skin crawl. That’s going to turn off a lot of moderates who vote based on superficial nonsense.

Paul is the best philosophical candidate. His voice is much better, but I feel his temperament could be an issue. He’s been shot at, beaten, threatened, and even had a bombing attempted to take him out. He has no patience anymore, and it causes him to get frazzled in interviews and debates.

Desantis is probably the most polished candidate on the GOP bench right now. Executive experience in a huge state like Florida is a big plus, and he’s done an excellent job as governor resulting in a huge economic and population boom there. He’s a lot better at coming across as the “adult in the room” than does Paul or Cruz. Paul and Cruz are fighters, but not the most tactful ones.
