Trump declares Navy will not take away Eddie Gallagher's SEAL Trident

Parlatore said the actions being taken by the Navy are geared toward humiliating Gallagher and serve no practical purpose.
"This is a procedure that's in place for people that are going to be continuing on in the Navy -- to actually remove them from the SEAL teams and say OK, you've committed major safety violations," he said. "You can't be a SEAL anymore. We're going to send you out to a ship... The instruction even says this is not the proper procedure for somebody that's getting out of the Navy entirely or should be pushed out of the Navy entirely," the lawyer added.

"The Navy will NOT be taking away Warfighter and Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher’s Trident Pin. This case was handled very badly from the beginning. Get back to business!" he wrote.

I’m not sure how I feel about this move. There were apparently a lot of SEALs that came out against him. I like Trump’s support of the military, but they are not infallible.

you know how long that admiral would be on active duty and what grade his retirement pay will be???
keep in mind ALL O-9 and O-10 (three and four star) appointments are political and confirmed by the Senate, retirement in grade has to be confirmed by the Senate as well....
BLUF, he can be relieved and retired as an O-8 (two-star)

This guy Green seems like he's going to martyr himself on behalf of the SEAL Officer class who dont like Gallagher. People don't seem to understand the friction that exists sometimes in the Military, especially the Navy, between Senior Enlisted/Warrants and the Officer Class. It's the Senior Chiefs and Warrant Officers, the specialist's that keeps the Navy running.

I wouldn't demote Admiral Green. I'd move him to Fleet Command. The new SJW friendly Green Fleet.
