The one thing I figured both sides could agree on is that Trump is not a religious person. I get much of his base is so he won't ignore that, but we don't have to pretend they he shares the beliefs.

I voted for trump. I am going to vote for trump in 2020. I am an evangelical. I have no way of knowing if trump is a Christian. His fruits of labor would have me thinking he isn’t far along In his relationship, but who am I to judge.

Not Evangelical and am largely cynical about Trump, but 100% agree with this. His predecessor looked upon the Evangelicals with disdain. Trump is a megalomaniac but I think he does care about his supporters and feels obligated to follow through on what they want out of him.
