Bro, I thought we all could at least agree that the level of intel , mostly gathered by Israeli intelligence community, has been mind blowing. I have a hard time believing that this type of Bush/Busch League mistake was made, despite the literally unbelievable nature and effectiveness of the intelligence that’s netted us some pretty damn good skins on the wall, if I may.
So it was knowingly targeted as a school?

Indeed. It has been incredible.

Mistakes happen by even the best trained people on the planet.

Look, I’m absolutely in support of this war and believe we should continue to prosecute it until our objectives are clearly met. That doesn’t mean I have to ignore common sense and admit when it appears that a mistake had been made. I’m sure our guys will learn from this and correct it in the future.

No sir, I’m saying our intel has proven itself to be of a quality that the likelihood of an error of that magnitude is highly unlikely.

Or did I read you incorrectly on that?

Here is an image of the target area. The simplest explanation is that something went wrong in the targeting process.

And I too freely acknowledge the reality of errors occurring in these situations and circumstances. Very tragic errors. My read on it, given the context and other relevant considerations I’ve picked up on, my read/opinion is that it there’s credible reason to believe that Iran, in the desperate state in which it finds itself (leadership, military and otherwise, that is), it has the means, motive and opportunity to facilitate such an action.

It’s possible that they did blow up the school in an attempt to make us look bad. But I find that much less likely than we mistakenly targeted the school. All things considered

I’m not unreasonable enough that I can’t be persuaded otherwise and change my mind, upon a showing of more reliable information and evidence than I’ve seen thus far.

But this is what happens when you’re an extensively bad actor like Iran is - when there’s a dispute of this nature, you don’t get the benefit of the doubt.

Remember the war we all watched about live on TV. WJC was accused of bombing a baby milk factory.

Our intel has improved. So It is why it had to be Iran.

It was also said the baby milk factory was a trick. So the fog of war sucks.

Muslim mothers will strap a bomb to their own child to kill non Muslims. Am I really supposed to doubt that those demons did this?

They were lobbing shite six ways from Sunday in a panic last week. Their military capabilities are not that great to begin with.

Why do you find this much less likely? Please consider the history of who we are dealing with as well as the quality of their weapons and those firing them, before you answer.

Nonsense. We can bomb a needle from 40,000 feet. The simplest explanation is Iran killed more of its civilians. You know. Like they did the week before. Good lord.

No. The simplest explanation is that we hit the exact building we were trying to hit from 40000 feet.

The school had previously been part of the base and used to be a military facility.

The school was hit at the same time the rest of the base was hit.

Theres nothing wrong with admitting that it’s highly probably that we bombed the building on accident.
