No deal is getting done soon. I have heard multiple people say a major problem with this administration is there are no serious diplomats. Iran doesn't trust the two real estate guys we send. Rubio is probably the closest we have, but he is not going to grind for two years coming up with JCPOA style agreement. JD tried, I guess, but again -- he won't put in the time and gets undercut, anyway.

Trump kind of reminds me of an AI with bad rewards.
Goal - spread peace around the world with peace treaties/deals.
Expected Behavior: Find conflicts and solve them.
Actual Behavior: Starts a war with a country, sign a peace deal with them every week to farm the peace treaty reward.

They won’t survive the status quo with out substantial support from Russia or China. Iraq has closed that border.
If the US uses diplomatic pressure to close the others or takes out border crossings with a Tomahawk, they are totally isolated from support.
Time is on our side here. Not theirs.
