Trump couldn't have set us up for worse midterm optics if he tried...or maybe he did try IDK
He desperately needs something before November and should quit floating BS until a deal is done. He may also be doing this to cool the 10YY and the oil markets, and there is nothing actually substantial to this claim.
The 10YY crossed over 5% today but has settled back down since his post

I’ll just assume that like every other time, Iran knows nothing about this and Trump is lying. Can’t wait for my Doge check, Tariff check………. and now we have midterm checks coming (if we win). We’re going to be loaded with cash!
