ITT we see many supposed small govt conservatives applauding the creating of a new govt agency.
I’ll support this when we also pass a flat tax or consumption tax and reduce or eliminate the IRS along with creation of the ERS. We don’t need bigger govt

Only concern is that this will be another Dept that will get corrupted at some point. Rules will be tough to lock in if not done by congress I'm assuming.
Why not just work on converting the current IRS into this? Obviously the name can change too. AFRS (America First Revenue Services
) Make it the majority of the revenue as we move towards less of a rate. I do think we all should be responsible for something each year, I know that will get beat up, but 10-15% flat a year for ALL individual citizens is reasonable goal. And find a way to cut down welfare for sure, those people aren't voting for the Right anyway so no need to get scared of them.

You don;t like the tax code, get with your representatives about it to change it (which I agree needs to be changed).
The US was funded by Tariffs until the early 20th century. I guess you love giving your hard earned money to corrupt countries.

I would rather pay more for everything I buy than pay another penny to the IRS. I don’t care if it makes financial sense or not. Income taxes are theft.
