Nah just correctly pointing out that Trump doesn’t give a shite (and really never did) about drugs.
Then why go after the Mexican cartels? Be specific.
Also…do you know the reason for the pardon? Of course you don’t. You’re an ignorant moron.

Secretly, I can imagine the Mexican government would welcome the U.S. military knocking out the cartels. It would be good for business for us and the Mexican people.
My only fear is the cartels launching attacks on American soil.

He made some long form campaign videos that I had never seen until 2024. I don't know if they were for 2016 or 2020 but he was pretty clear that he wanted to destroy cartels.
Those folks are animals so I don't care if he bombs them and wipes them from the face of the Earth but.....
Demand will always be there. Prohibition simply doesn't and won't ever work.
As I said, they are animals. Animals with billions. Who the heck knows how many billions. In the late 80s one of the top cartel members offered to pay off the Colombian deficit for a pardon. They had billions in the late 80s. How much do you think they have now?
If a cartel war pops off against the US, we don't have the stomach for it. We really don't. They have the money, weaponry and savagery to do horrible damage and the country won't tolerate it. They have no problem butchering women and children.
I don't think we could kill enough of them to stop retaliation and the American people would turn on the president if school buses started blowing up.
Do we have the might to disrupt the drug trade permanently if we pay no attention to sovereign rights of our neighboring countries. Sure. But the guerilla warfare inside the US would end the political career of anyone starting the war on the cartels.
TLDR. I have zero problem because the top dogs in the cartels should have consequences. But enacting that justice will bring violence across the border.

I really hope and pray this is the next thing he accomplishes:

Why no one has done this in the prior 50 years proves that our federal government does not care one bit about stopping the flow of drugs into our country as long as they get their cut.
The problem here is the very entities that Trump is depending upon to wage these wars are very often the same entities who have facilitated this arrangement.

Have long said we should 'test' our extremely high tech weaponry that we haven't used yet on the cartels to see the results. Let the world see the destruction they can do.

Good - a matter of time before someone had to do something.
