BDR should have waited for '28 to run. I'm more convinced of that now than ever. And be clear, I was one promoting the pragmatic view that 2 terms is objectively better than the one Trump will get, but then his home got raided, and all these fake indictments... sorry, this is bigger than mere election cycles and terms.

Huge difference in Biden and Trump. Biden has full blown dementia. Trump is in pretty good shape mentally for someone pushing 80. Neither has their fastball, but Trump's decline is nothing compared to Biden. Both way to old to run anything important.

Trump is 77, he will be nearly 83 before he leaves the WH. His father had Alzheimers. He's been doing a couple events a month and only doing interviews from MAL for the most part. He's apparently going to go big and start doing almost one whole event a DAY though!
The real problem is you guys are comparing Trump to Biden and Biden is likely not going to be the nominee. It's amazing you can't see how bad this is going to get when they replace him out with someone 25 years younger. We are gift wrapping the next 4 years to the Commies.

I think he's trying to convince you that going for the LEAST impaired candidate is the way to go, which is neither Trump nor Biden.
If you disagree, then you'll have to explain to me why it's a good thing to choose someone less impaired than Biden, but it would be a bad thing to choose someone less impaired than Trump.
