The judge that it is brought before after the guns are taken and the situation contained. Let some attorney and psychologist and sociologist get the guns back if they can. You make threats with guns then it should be taken seriously. They prosecute false bomb reports already. Why let this slide?

I don't like that trump says it, but he's earned goodwill and trust. if I thought that were going to happen, i'd be disappointed. but it's not going to happen.

So you are advocating letting this gunman keep his guns despite all the red flags?

Until he commits an act that that will allow the legal removal of his right to bear arms then yes I am for letting him keep his rights, and his guns.

Are you going to take the right to drive from someone when you see red flags that they may drive drunk?

Kneed jerk reaction laws are rarely good, they are too often an attempt to appeal to the low information voters.

at those that thought Trump was a conservative.

His administration has been one of the most conservative administrations in the last 80 years.

I thought conservatives were about action, not talk?

This is not stripping rights, it is about protective measures.

The only thing better than a standard melt is a "Trump is acting like a liberal, are you guys not outraged?" melt.

think some sort of gun restraining order is worth looking into.

There has to be a process that allows the accused to face the accuser and answer the charges.

Heritage Foundation agrees.

Only an idiot would think Trump is not a conservative.

I hate to break it to you people, but ex parte restraining orders in state across the country already do this.

Someone files for a protection order depending on the law, the judge grants a ex parte hearing that only the petitioner attends, the judge rules in favor of the petitioner, you aren't legally allowed to have a gun.

Then at a full hearing, the petitionee gets to rebut the order, but this currently happens already.

Are you suggesting the removal of ones liberties without due process? I am opposed to this.

There is a process and it should be followed.
