Agree totally.

Even if he was not the shooter ( I have questions about this) he still acted in a manner that would justify the taking of his guns through due process.

Am I hearing this right? Y'all think that the FBI or the police did react and go to 'question' this young man about his threats that they should not be allowed to take his weapons to contain the threat?

If a man threatens the police the police cannot take away his weapons? just asking.

which is also funny because he's a democrat

Actually, I've been coming around to the idea that no matter what party he's been in, he's always had a conservative leaning to himself given his background as a businessman and dabbling in paleoconservative politics with the reform parties.

quote:

Mr. Trump registered for the first time in New York as a Republican in July 1987, only to dump the GOP more than a decade later for the Independence Party in October 1999, according to the New York City Board of Elections.

In August 2001, the billionaire enrolled as a Democrat. Eight years later, he returned to the Republican Party, The Smoking Gun reported.

After only two years as a registered Republican, Mr. Trump left the party again, and in December 2011 marked a box that indicated, “I do not wish to enroll in a party.”

Mr. Trump returned to the GOP in April 2012

He joined the democrat party once and I've been believing that it was a complete objection to Bush 43 and his politics.

People can be really weird with their politics.

Lot of wack jobs out there with guns. We're taking their guns, folks. No due process. Have to do it. Smart!

pretty much a common sense approach when a person shows irrational and violent tenancies including making threats of violence

Somehow he always “flips” to the conservative position he held all along.

You people are fools.

Yes. They should not be allowed to take someone’s property without due process. How is that hard to understand?

So the alternative would be to lock the person up as a public risk and make the courts decide. That works for me too.

I am not defending any one and certainly not shitting on the man's rights to own a gun.

If the man threatened your family I would support some thing be done to disarm the man. I do not think 'waiting' until the man or woman does damage is a common sense approach to actual threats.

If he’s broken a law then arrest him and put him in jail. It’s not like this is a new concept.

If you’re saying it should be okay to take a person’s property without due process then you’re shitting on his write to be free from unwarranted search and siezure.

No I am not and you are convoluting the argument.

It is failure of due process in this latest case.

I understand what you object to.
