I’m not putting words in your mouth, I’m trying to understand. I don’t see him as a career politician. He wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Just like in the polls maybe 8% of Ronbots are actual Desantis supporters.

I can’t think of one in recent history, but maybe that’s my cynicism. And career politicians are what brought about the likes of Trump and Desantis.

They have no choice. It's the talking point of the day.

The misuse of this term is one of the worst things to result from social media.

He obviously underestimated Trump’s hold on the party, for better or for worse.

But then again I think he’s just a bad candidate.

But you are a hypocrite so your perverse take on hypocrisy doesn’t really have credibility.

List the obvious reasons.

Hopefully people aren’t this shortsighted, because beyond this election, it’s very bleak. It’s like we’re going all in on 24 with no consideration for the future or any long term plan. I still hate this scorched Earth mentality that only serves the “now”.
I've asked on here multiple times: "What happens after Trump" and I've never gotten an answer. That's because they are dedicated to a man not an agenda.

It's also why democrats don't fear a MAGA movement, and GOP won't embrace it. When Trump is gone, the support is gone too. They'll go back to being the people that never vote again.

Well I don’t think your small cult can overcome MAGA and the support DeSantis actually needed.

That may very well be, but it doesn’t change the truth of my statement.

Maybe it doesn’t matter because there’s a better, more conservative option than DeSantis in 2028. If there isn’t and there are enough Trumptards to vote against him because he wasn’t loyal to their Daddy, then we get what we get.

It's so weird how y'all are so sure of your assertions, but fall on your face as soon as they're called out.

Dunning-Kruger on display.

I don't know.

To me MAGA is a re-packaged Tea party which was a re-packaged Reagan revolution.

It seems to wax and wane over the decades.
