Him getting emergency powers isn’t a slam dunk.
Parliament had to approve. And his party doesn’t hold a majority.
He loses this vote, he doesn’t just lose out on emergency powers but it forces snap elections which likely sees him turfed as PM.

Truckers just need to take a little vacation until grocery shelves get thin and then the citizens/ voters will do the rest.

Theoretically, the powers involved prevent a labor strike from taking place.
In practice, a severe slowdown or other work action would still have the same effect.

Effectively he is making this shite up as he goes along.

And he previously floated the idea to invoke this for Covid and the heads of all the provinces unanimously told him to frick off.
Ford from Ontario would support him this time around but many other provinces likely hold firm.

So weird that he supports the protests of groups who suck on the government teat,
but not the protests of the people paying the bills.

He's about to lose power.

Yep.
The NDP already started publicly backing away from him last week.
If they bolt and enough Libs or Bloc bolt too, the whole coalition fails. If it fails, the Libs will dump him as party head.

I can't see how he wins elections being so out of touch with the populace.
He must be pulling a lot of votes from Quebec, Ontario and urban British Columbia, but don't really know.

He got about 30% of the vote and the provinces you list are ones where the Libs are strong.
If he loses too many ridings to the NDP or Bloc next time, the Libs become a shadow of themselves.

Trudeau, is a greater threat to the peace and tranquility of Canada than the truckers. These governments all seem to forget they’re easily replaced.

I have family in B.C. and they have not come out of their home for 2 years (orders in). When I talk to them they say their friends have also done the same thing and hate non-vaxxed and unmasked heathens.
They love Trudeau and but do complain that he is not liberal enough.

Atleast truckers need to refuse to bring any goods to the liberal areas. With the trucker shortage this could work and be good for everyone but the ones wanting mandates

They are in their 70's, no bowl smoking.
