You weren't the one asking how the left infiltrated institutions.

The fact is that Republicans generally don't go into education because there's no money in it. So they leave Education up to idealistic people who aren't just pursuing money - aka, "liberals".

I think that is probably more-easily and -correctly attributed to demographics which constitute a wide swath of our population and which simply do not care about seeing their children educated.

New age techniques share some of the blame.

And then there’s the 54% who read below a sixth-grade level, a group large enough to cripple a workforce, distort an election, and hinder public discourse.

Thats an abomination. Think what this holds for our future.

When I was in 7th grade in a New Orleans public school in the 70s, we had just begun to diagram sentences when the liberals decided to change the way they taught English, and started teaching what they called "Master Learning", which had nothing at all to do with diagramming sentences, or even identifying nouns and verbs. By 11th grade, there were still students who were struggling to distinguish between nouns/verbs and subjects/objects.

What had worked for over 100 years was tossed out in favor of an experiment - which failed.

I would love to blame just liberals, but this "no child left behind" didnt help.

Until schools stop worrying about butts in the seat more than learning, nothing will improve.

When you pump enough estrogen in there to counteract the genetics and testosterone anything that cones of it will be incredibly off....
That's why they are violent.

This is false.

Conservative view points are not only unwelcome, they are a means to be targeted.

The left effectively used HR / DEI to ostracize opposing viewpoints.

It is an insidious approach to control via education.

Had a history prof make us buy a book she wrote and we never used it.

She also did all tests using those blue books and she would mark you down for spelling and grammar.

had a deranged prog female prof fail me on a paper we had to write about any topic of our choosing because I wrote about the U.N. coorupt "oil for food" scheme Kofi Annan's son was grifting millions from.

The dean regraded it to an A and she got her shite pushed in. She just didnt like the topic.

Damn. You'd think libs would be offended by stealing food from poors.

I was fortunate. I was taking a class on Eastern Europe and one of the exam questions was about Poland. I said democracy was likely to succeed because the voters became impatient under Suchocka and voted her out of office in spite of improving conditions. Using ballots instead of bullets to enact change, and a peaceful transition of power, were signs that democracy was taking hold. Revolutions are also more likely not when it can't get any worse but when improvement is happening too slowly.

I got full credit for the answer because I correctly identified those three points, even though the prof didn't agree that Suchocka was effective.

In the posts under the original TPUSA post you can read the assignment instructions and her essay. It wasnt a particularly great essay but a IMO she met the assignment instructions. The prof was just offended by it

I was going to post roughly the same thing. She read the directions for the reaction paper, and then presented what she thought about the article. Professor Tranny just didn't like what she wrote and got in its feelings about it.

Samantha, read the room. The key to getting an “A“ in any class is writing to the pre-existing biases of your reader. Tell the professor that he or she is brilliant, and you will graduate with a 4.0.

What a shitty conformist way to go through life. I've pissed off a few professors writing what I wanted to write.
