I gave you evidence that a solid majority of Americans, not just republicans, but 45% of DEMOCRATS, support such a measure.

Most government buildings have armed gaurds. Do people that work in government buildings feel like they work inside of a prison?

Banks have armed guards. Does everyone that goes into a bank feel like they are entering a prison? Do bank employees feel like they work inside of a prison?

Casinos have armed security. Do people that go to casinos for entertainment and gaming feel like they are in a prison?

But allowing teachers to carry would allow them to barricade and protect themselves and their students until police respond.

Teachers don't need to go in to school... they are already in school. Actually just the threat that there are trained teachers with weapons to return fire is enough of a threat for most of these cowards anyway.

Why does the left hate the idea of people being allowed to protect themselves?
