Business Insider Link

“We moved from California to Texas for a cheaper lifestyle. We disliked almost everything else, and are moving back.” ??

A couple moved from Sacramento to El Paso and is shocked about the change in weather and lifestyle! So they’re moving back.

And this is BIG news!!

Would be huge if more would move back to Cali. Need transplants in northern Arkansas, Tennessee, and S. Carolina to move back also to their liberal states. Fix the problems you created and stop moving to red states

El.Paso? Would have been better going south to TJ. El Paso is TEJAS not Texas.

El Paso was a terrible pick unless you are hispanic and like the dry heat.

A 5 minute google search could’ve told them all of this. Morons.

Strange. I don’t have a subscription to Business Insider . I just copied the link from the Google home page.

Maybe there’s something in the process of copy/pasting the link that triggers the pay wall?

This is the Locust that people were warned about. They still believe that democrat mantra and were spreading it to other locations until they realized they weren’t ready for the actual living amongst the lower people

Texas needs more Cali transients to move there and get fed up and move back.

People moving from CA to TX are typically more conservative voters than native Texans.

No matter how many times this gets pointed out though there is always someone like you that thinks Californians that move there are trying to ruin Texas and turn it blue

Start of story:
quote:

I grew up in El Paso, but I ended up going to college in Sacramento

Top-Middle of story:
quote:

I was used to living in El Paso because I grew up here,

And then the middle of the story:
quote:

We didn't do enough research before moving

Uhhh.. if she was "used to living in El Paso".... why was research needed? And the weather and winds changed since she was there last?

I'm sniffing a little bit of BS here.

They lived in Sacramento not rural California and are moving back to California so I doubt very seriously that they are really a version of a conservative. You missed with that arrow, again

Well, it did state that they were from Sacramento.

23 days/year average over 100*F, 2024 was 35 days.

50 days/year average over 95*F, 2024 was 63.

Sacramento Valley gets hot.
