That's the board in a nutshell. Rog, BuckyCheese, SFP, jnoles, 14 and counting all think Trump is not conservative because he is not fiscally responsible. DJT supporters perceive everything that is not Trump as GOPe/RINO/cuck. And away we go.
To be fair, there is a ton of confusion over the debt ceiling. Baws at patriots.win didn't understand DJTs's position.

“You’re not a conservative if you want the bill passed.”
“Ha, y’all didn’t get the bill passed.”
Basically infighting on the board with some posters trolling both sides of the right wing infighters.
It’s fun, and for guys like SFP, they can’t really lose.

Goes far beyond his fiscal beliefs. He's not a cultural conservative in the least either.

Funny how they didn’t read the first one and were gonna vote yes until a non govt person said something. Now they’re voting no on a smaller bill. These conservatives sure are awesome
I haven't followed this soap opera but did google the names of the Republicans that voted no today, and there are some legit conservatives on that list. Have they said why they voted no?

The people voted for Trump. Trump said what he wants congress to do. Congress decided to do something else. Now Trump and Elon will destroy those reps. And I know this is going to break some hearts but Trump is coming in like a gorilla with a chainsaw dick.
I trust the GEOTUS far more than any one member of congress. And substantially more than them all combined.

The amount of people who think they are conservatives simply due to spending is in this thread is laughable. Most of those same people claim that conservatives have always been anti union. Just ignorance.
“Conservative” is a meaningless term. We weren’t conserving anything. The country was always shifting left.
Populism is a real thing, and it’s the only alternative to what we just voted against.

Yep, its sad watching them sprint to the left...

How so? Be specific please, and keep in mind whoever comes in next cycle can pretty much ignore Trump.
How will they be able to ignore Trump? You think Dems will win the house and the senate?

Bayou. it’s not all of a sudden gonna HAULT the deficit spending. all this stuff is being ramped thru on purpose & to create havoc before DJT can even move into the WH.
At least he is fighting this before he is even in office, if it were another RINO (Bush etc) winning and moving into power, there would have been ZERO fight.
that’s the difference so far! At least we come out swinging.
And the picture of the BEFORE & AFTER bill just in “size” stacked next to each other makes me happy! I don’t know what is in it, but I’ve seen enough legal documents in my life, the more papers, the more loopholes and legalize to manipulate and meander thru the swamp like old times!
let them chip away at the machine

They actually learned a lot from the MSM machine. They duplicated the tactics. Words just dont have any real meaning.

Here's Roy's opinoon;
Loading Twitter/X Embed...
If tweet fails to load, click here. JUST IN: Texas Rep. Chip Roy starts yelling at his Republican colleagues, shreds them for "never having any ounce of self-respect."
"You've added to the debt since you were given the majority again on November 5th. It's embarrassing. It's shameful."
"Yes, I think this bill is better than it was yesterday on certain respects. But to take this bill yesterday and congratulate yourself because it's shorter in pages, but increases the debt by $5 trillion is asinine."
"I am absolutely sickened by a party that campaigns on fiscal responsibility and has the temerity to go forward to the American people and say you think this is fiscally responsible."
"It is absolutely ridiculous."

After two years of Trump I'll be amazed if they don't get crushed in the House.

Remember what Rush used to say..."Everything is political 100 % of the time".
That means that Chip and the Freedom Caucus and everyone else up there is playing politics and they don't give a damn about conservatism.
They are all fighting for a piece of the pie and daddy took the pie away.
