Also Tom Fitton:
quote:

"We respectfully disagree with the Court," Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told POLITICO via e-mail Thursday. "The idea that a president could spirit official recordings and documents out of the White House and that there is nothing that can be legally done about it is a misreading of the Presidential Records Act.

Okay fine.

But arguing over what files are Trumps and what files belong to National Archives is NOT a criminal issue, AT ALL.

It's not criminal until the DOJ NSD declares holding some document to be criminal post facto.

The DOJ NSD is out of fricking control.

if making shitty appointments and hires counts as "exposing," then Joe Biden is doing an absolutely fantastic job exposing the worst players in government

His appointment exposed him.

Is that what Trump was elected for? To put people into positions of power so they could be exposed?

This thread does have a lot of potential to turn into a ronbot melt thread. It doesn't take much of a defense of Trump to trigger a ronbot melt.

It doesn't and Ron bots aren't even a thing. You're just a retard

Fitton is right, this has been litigated and has precedent…People can be mad about it, but Presidents have this omnipotent power over their administration, and declassification.

If he made a good appointment that proves he knows what he’s doing.

If he made a bad appointment it was really just to expose them, so that also proves he knows what he’s doing.

Unfortunately that is how Cult45 actually thinks.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but Ron just like Trump is not clairvoyant. Ron can't predict how his hires will turnout with 100% certainty either.

The difference is he is praising Trump for “exposing Barr”

This may have had some relevance in the civil matter related to this (the previous civil proceedings in front of Cannon). The PRA has nothing to do with the current criminal matter.

Great way to burn an Attorney General appointment, eh?

Cult45 thinks so.

The excuses get more insane by the day.
