I didn’t even know they went on until a day after it happened NF I read the thread here about the Day 1 medal winners.
I’ve tuned out TV and MSM news completely. I get my news forms Greensweld, Kiran, TD, and trying to find a local Houston source that I can pay directly similar to those above. Suggestions are appreciated.

I feel like I'd have to take a shower for watching anti-American athletes who excel at sports and competition...but are too stupid or misguided to realize that a fair competition (Capitalism) - based one an individual's God/Nature-given talent - for relative affluence is somehow immoral. Or maybe I'd just feel guilty for lending indirect support to their 'cause'.
It's sad that the honest athletes are pressured and lumped into the same barrel with the rotten apples.

I’m not discounting that the woke BS is causing a big hit to the ratings, but, I do think there is a little element of the games being halfway across the world and no fans, just the whole vibe across the board is missing. Certain personalities are missing. Just a train wreck but to me not seeing stuff live does contribute a share.

I don't have a source recommendation, but from a news perspective I would recommend watching MariaBs Sunday morning show on Fox. It is really good and she has high up right wing govt officials regularly. Ie ...she opened up this morning with Gov Abbott, and he talked about the illegals being arrested for trespassing. Which started this week.
Sen Johnson out of WI talking about hunter Biden laptop.
It really is a good solid hour to start the week.

Okay I've watched a good bit and I detest the Rapino's of the world but give me an example of "woke characters" during these Olympics.
I watched the opening ceremonies and the most of the American athletes were proudly waving the American flag and shouting "USA"
I watched other American athletes cheer on the swim team waving flags and they actually had a "pep rally" and sang God Bless America.
I've seen no kneeling by any American athletes at their medal ceremonies and the both the silver and gold medal swimmers proudly had their hand over their hearts for the national anthem.
I detest Rapino and LeBron as much as the next person but yet to see all this "wokism" that all these drama queens on this thread are referring to.

This is more a sham Olympics than the 2020 college football season was sham football. Nobody is watching these games, and rightfully so.

I used to get into counting our medals or keeping track if we had the most gold's. I loved that and proud to see us win.
