Picked a bad time to piss off so many people in this country…

A few things...
a) There is the matter if the court challenge. Remember, VA Supreme Court permitted the vote, but did not determine whether the measure was legal. I don't hold out a lot of hope for this, but it is still out there.
b) These Dems don't seem to remember Bacon's Rebellion.

The court is set to hear a case CHALLENGING the maps, as Democrats kept a “special session” open for TWO YEARS to force this rigged map through, potentially violating the state constitution.
This is BY FAR the worst, most egregiously biased map in the country.
STRIKE IT DOWN!

Temper your expectations in Virginia.
They’re playing games, of course.
I expect the referendum to “pass.”
But regardless of the supposed outcome tonight, this ain’t over.
Watch.

The blue dumps from Fairfax County have apparently carried the day. The AP is now projecting the Restoring Gerrymandering ballot initiative will pass.

Fairfax County has always been pissed off over President Trump.

This should be impossible to happen. I'm astonished at how evil all democrats are

I’m sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for why every blue area always takes longer to count votes than red areas—I’ve just never heard it.

Every Single Time from leftist cities or counties.
Wake up people.

Yeah well watching this unfold from Texas is certainly ironic…

Would you believe it if I told you the population density is higher in blue areas?
Meaning more voters, and more votes to tally…

HUGE win the American Radical Left.
And the United States of America continues its lengthy trend towards becoming a Leftist Regime.

Why are you claiming this vote tonight was a “repudiation” of trump when the end result is going to be the referendum winning by around 2-3 points?
It’s outperforming trump’s 2024 margin in the state

Your point is a good one - only 2-3 points margin. If that is what it ends up being…
My point is that the margin is not as relevant if it equates to 4 seats potentially, which is more significant…

Did Texas voters pass a constitutional amendment to give power to an unelected bipartisan committee to redistrict political seats? I must have missed that. I thought the Texas legislature had always retained that power.

Sad day for VA. I grew up in south central VA. It’s God’s country and a red state. The DC spillover progressives in NOVA and high crime, low income trash in Richmond and VA Beach ruin the state. But I will die on the hill that VA is a red state.

The results tonight are actually much closer than the governor’s race less than 6 months ago. If anything can be taken from tonight, it would seem that dem policies are becoming less popular the closer we get to November.

Not to my knowledge. Legislature retains that power.
I’m sure you’re aware of Texas’ new infamous redistricting maps.
Many people say that was the catalyst…
