Unfortunately, the word "state" is bandied about flippantly with no understanding of what a state truly is.

As is THE United States, rather than THESE United States.

I know for a fact that you don't. If you did, you wouldn't be sitting here whining about the arse beating your family took.

Sometimes ignorance is so overwhelmingly obvious that it just boggles the mind, and you are just such an example

I also am from Ohio and wish you were not a part of that institution and certainly do not want you to be part of the south

You really should grow up although you probably are a 10-year-old posting on this board

Do you have any evidence of this statement? You do know the Union was attacking Confederate defensive positions in this, right? It was a killing field the Union Officer Corp ordered their men to enter to attack these positions. Absolute madness, you can bet that had the entire Officer Corp had to lead the way there would have been no more than one attack wave of Union soldiers. Since they weren't in it these officers sent wave after wave after wave of Union soldiers to their death. Very poor leadership.
To say he was "enjoying it" requires quite a bit more evidence than just someone's internet histrionics.

And - that's the response I was expecting. You're a poor troll, and an worse scholar. I had long noticed you haven't the intellect to present an argument based on anything other than "I know you are but what am I?"

Wearing that avatar is akin to stolen valor, Pee-wee, but you do you.

EXACTLY, EKG.

The words "perpetual union" we part of the Articles of Confederation which predated the Constitution. Oddly, those words were not incorporated into the Constitution when so many other portions of the Articles of Confederation were imported verbatim. Wonder why that might be? Some folks who have studied history rather than relying on their teachers to tell them what to believe call that a "conspicuous omission." I kinda get the idea that you already new that though.

And - as far as THESE United States -v- THE United States, you are indeed 100% correct. I wish others had your ability to understand and a desire to look into matters themselves rather than spout off what Mrs. Bailey taught them in 4th grade social studies.

And that's you?

No. You believe what your grandpappy told you about the War of Northern Aggression and whatever dumb frick sources you could find to confirm your perpetually idiotic retelling of history.

Buckeye - Man I'm sorry I made those remarks about Ohio chicks being lard asses and about 30lbs heavier than elephants the other day. I didn't realize that you and your momma would take it so personally.

Since you're already in such an uproar I might as well explain that the reason Ohioans are called Buckeyes is entirely fitting. A buckeye looks quite a bit like the very delicious and edible chestnut. However, the buckeye is bitter to the taste and quite poisonous. It has no real value. In other words, it's a worthless nut. Rather appropriate, I think.

Anyway, I acknowledge you are here and enjoy stalking. I'll see ya 'round later.
