No need to worry about that.

I like people who are as full of themselves as you are.

A glimpse of the previous page proves that thesis wrong, slick.

I didn't say anything about Sherman outranking Grant.

I didn't say anything about red being my favorite color.

Why won't you produce the order?

It's always good to admire oneself.

You digging in so hard makes this so much better.

This is almost exactly what happened to Barry when he tried to frick around with me on estate taxes.

Degree or not, you don't know what you don't know.

CB58? The dude who chases sea monsters around California?

Nice try, sport.

Exactly.

This is spot on, even if you don't know why.

I'm glad you're having fun because I'm having fun, too. That's the whole reason I called you back to this thread and you ran back because your pride is such you can't avoid the challenge.

Now please produce the order from Halleck to Sherman.

It's not a try at all. You stated as fact that it was just you and me. CB58, whatever he might do in his spare time, is still a person. Unless, of course, you want to say he isn't a human being and add "racist" to the list of things that you are.

Exactly.

Incorrect. Exactitude does not exist when it comes to subjective feelings.

I don't need to know why. I understand you and that's all that matters.

That's what it's all about.

I'll have even more fun when/if you figure this out. Barry realizing that I busted his arse was a good time. This might be even better.

Incorrect.

You can count the nutjobs, but that's on you.

The occurrence isn't a subjective feeling, which is entirely irrelevant.

I don't need to know why.

Correct. Your ignorance doesn't change a thing.

You realize Buckeye is playing a game, what you DON'T realize is "why"...

No NORMAL human being engages in this sort of insane game over the Civil War.

Buckeye is acting out a power fantasy as a result of getting his arse kicked by a Southern boy.

It is apparent by his flaccid flailing about that this is all about "getting those mean ole' Southern baws" in some sort of fantasy-world he has built in his delusional mind.

Stop feeding the delusion and KNOW that no matter what, you aren't some damaged cuck like this Kasich supporting loser.....

Sherman would beat the frick out of Grant and Lee at the same time today.

Disagree.

As to Lee Sherman always had supply.

As to Grant:
Sherman said Grants Vicksburg campaign would fail.
Grant agreed to let Sherman march to the sea.
Sherman got caught with his pants down as did Grant at Shiloh.
Sherman could have ended the war earlier during the Georgia campaign at Atlanta and Savannah. Savannah being the worst of the two.
Both unique in style. If I wanted a Hill taken I'd choose Sherman. If I wanted a State taken I'd choose Grant.

quote:

I'm a damned sight smarter than Grant; I know more about organization, supply and administration and about everything else than he does; but I'll tell you where he beats me and where he beats the world. He don't care a damn for what the enemy does out of his sight but it scares me like hell.

That's fine. Sherman adapted. Grant relied on overwhelming his enemy.

I'm following Sherman every time given that choice.
