She got nothing. Not a single day in jail beyond time already served. And a $5k fine.

Unsurprising. This 70 year old judge was never going to get a jail sentence for letting one guy out the back stairwell.

And that is why this country is hanging on by a thread. The punishment must be harsh enough to deter others from breaking the same laws.

Good Lord. This country is shot.

This bitch was caught on camera committing this felony. ...and later admitted to it.

People forget that the conviction is the punishment. Convicted felon can no longer be a judge and her law license is potentially in jeopardy. Any jail time would be an added bonus. We already got our pound of flesh here.

Nope, if any other shlepp was harboring and hiding a criminal, their punishment would be substantially more harsh.

This fat dyke should be in prison today.

Harboring an undocumented immigrant is a federal crime handled under 8 U.S.C. Section 1324. In Wisconsin, these charges are prosecuted in federal court and carry severe penalties based on the specific circumstances of the crime:Standard Harboring: Up to 5 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.For Financial Gain: Up to 10 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.Bodily Injury or Death: Up to 20 years in prison if the act puts a life in jeopardy, and up to life imprisonment if the crime results in death.

She most definitely put ICE agents lives in jeopardy.

This...she is getting a way better deal than anybody who is not a judge or high-profile attorney would get.

Both judges (Duran and Adelman) should be disbarred.

Bull shite we did. Getting fired isn’t a proper punishment for a felony of this type.

I wish someone had said this over a PA system to the judge two seconds after he said the first statement.

Your post reads like SFP.

If, she has a law degree, she should have been disbarred.

Next, she will sue, for damages and probably that promotion she believes in her head she missed while sitting at home.

I not one for violence, but there are times it is called for.
