You’re blind if you think conservatives want to save the country. They want you just like you are right now. A blind loyalist to a political party that keeps you and half the population under foot

I bet you can’t tell me any of the reasoning behind conservative tax policy. I can tell you what the liberal tax policy is. I can tell you when said policy would be actually be a very effective policy. I can also tell you why it’s not a good option for the economy right now. But you’re blind to outside reasoning, locked into a trench you’ll never leave.

If you had said Republican, you could have been right. Both Parties want you to be fervently loyal and stupid to any outside opinion of what could possibly good/right.

I come from a looooong history of Blue Dog Democrats. Middle class hard working Americans. Voted for Clinton, Kerry and Obama first term...wrote in Rand Paul in 12'. The second term for Obama woke me up like nothing i have ever experienced. I wasnt the only one. My entire family, outside of my mother has since gotten on team Trump! I voted for him strictly because he was an outsider and continues to be to this day. I gain more and more distrust for Democrats, GOPE and the MEDIA every single day. Its become an absolute mess. My grandfathers are veterans and i myself am a Iraq War veteran. I am appalled at the anti-American sentiment that exists in the Democratic party. Never in my life have i seen a party become as radicalized as the current Democratic party. As long as people like AOC, Ilhan Omar, Tlaib, Swalwell, O'Rorke exist in the Democratic field, i will be voting for whoever opposes them. I didn't leave the Democratic party, the Democratic party left me!!!

What has the extreme right taken over? The GOP had the presidency and both houses; what extreme right legislation got passed? They couldn't even repeal obamacare.
And that's the issue. Both parties (not just politicians) are so far left and right that nothing will ever be done again. We are in perpetual gridlock to the point where the only changes that can occur are easily ended executive orders.

I will not stand by idly while they attempt to turn this country into a Socialist third world shithole just so they can be in power forever.

In no particular order:

Federal legalization of Marijuana
Flat Tax
Get out of the Middle East
Use money generated and saved from the above to upgrade infrastructure and public school systems

I'll vote for that

This is the answer I expect most commonly from independent and/or undecided voters. My question is if his policies that you agree with will overcome your personal dislike for him as a person enough for you to vote for his re-election.

Reading the responses in this thread , I am amazed at how many pussies we have in this country.

People don't like Trump because he fights back and isn't a pussy.

Do people in society actually allow people to walk all over them and not respond in kind ?

Who the frick cares about decorum ? Oh, that's right the pussies on this thread !

Donald Trump was the first Republican for President since Ronald Reagan that I voted for. But I didn't vote for a Democrat during this period either. Mostly I voted 3rd party or not at all. Donald Trump was the first true independent to win office. Say what you will but he had his own agenda and he has met resistance from both sides of the isle. He will be re-elected in a land slide. And to add, I voted against John Bell last time and I will vote against him again. I will vote straight republican if I can.

See, I have my idealized unicorn candidate that would support EVERY pet idea I have as well. I'm not naive (or narcissistic) enough to think there could ever possibly be a SEPARATE POLITICAL PARTY built around that.

I guess it cam be mostly harmless to dream, though.

Until that possibly comes along, I will just vote for whoever comes closest, even if nobody is often really close and/or (more often these days) whoever is LESS socialist.

I've yet to see any evidence that longing for a mythical third party serves any purpose at all, though.

and MY problem with people like YOU is your inability to grasp that the 2016 GOP primaries offered several options FAR superior to Donald Trump. Individuals with better policy positions and WITHOUT his personality defects.

Name them !

I'll bet they involve globalists , neocons and pro amnesty.

When you learn how to read then you may understand... Try to reread what you wrote, then read what I wrote... that would be a start for you. Hopefully at that point you will infer that the blame for the current situation isn't on both parties...slow one. And the premise you made by using both parties is under assault by my post... low information voters never can get it...

Love you Hank but neither were going to win Pa, Mi, Pa.

Cruz would’ve done much better in TX and FL. Maybe take OH but the states above he wouldn’t have pulled no matter how bad hillary was.
