We got to Trump because we were sick of spending, debt, endless middle eastern war, immigration replacement of our citizenry, a stagnant economy and government corruption.

depeneds what we are spending on. would i like government to be like me in how i handle money? sure. but i know that will never happen. trump has cut back plenty government. are you not paying attention? it has been posted here ad infinitum. plus finding wasteful spending.
most only cared about spending as long as it does not cause huge inflation. some other POTUS would run it back up even if we paid it all off. because they all will use it in this day and time. show me the 20 year occupation he is in right now? Actually he is the best president of the 21st century.
Granted there are limited choices. Bidens hidden people sucked. W tried. Obama was the most racially divisive president we have had in a long time.
And Hillary was... still not the president.
Not a lot of choices over the first quarter of this century. I have hopes. He does play with fire but he plays too win and he usually wins.

i've laid it out many times. trump is better than reagan. while reagan had tariffs on the japanese he left borders nothing like trump has done, and granted amnesty. plus allowed a tax raise on SS AFTER cutting taxes ands regs.
trump lowered regs and cut corporate tax better than anyone. did fabulous on marginal tax rates also.

What has Trump done to change any of this? The border is "closed", yet already the 'comprehensive immigration' crap has started back up and the foreign workers continue to be imported and Trump is bragging on more Chinese students. Nothing else you mentioned has changed. And I'm the idiot?
The trend over the past half century has only gone in one direction, despite about split democrat and republican control. Why is that? Why are we in another pointless war? Why is Trump spending at a rate nearly on par with Biden? Why does the economy suck?
What is getting better? You can throw out all the leftist boogeymen you like. Those things aren't getting better. And in many cases, they're getting worse. But you keep sucking orange's prick and see where that gets you.

He was a middle of the road president in his first term.
His second term has been a disaster because he has seemingly rebuked everything that made his first term work despite the bluster. Losing in 2020 and everything that happened afterwards changed him for the worse because it triggered aspects of his worst personality traits. His first cabinet was actually fairly competent, this one is full of cranks and lickspittles.
