It will take 2-3 years for economic impact from policy takes place.

This in a nutshell. Too many thought/think Trump can fix overnight what the jackass Dems worked 24/7 to F>>>up over 4 years. Why is this so hard to understand?

This is a YOU problem. Why do you have no problem taking for others to subsidize your expenses? That’s a lazy, entitled loser mentality

Hey I can absorb the hit lol. Just you wait though. There will be political consequences.

And Trump is as we speak talking about stimulus checks.

My insurance got a lot more expensive.
Because of nine months of Trump? or because of ACA? My guess it is caused by the Unaffordable Care Act.

t’s fascinating that many of you aren't able to see many of the great things the current administration has done and will continue to do.

We see them. And we see things they are not doing, and easily could. These are things that they promised to do, and now refuse to do.

It's fascinating that you don't understand why being lied to would piss us off.

yes all of the moderates and independents are totally on board with the far-left progressives that are taking over the DNC

sometimes it's what you're voting against, yknow?

God forbid voters voice their concerns and hold elected officials accountable to the promises made on the campaign trails

I am happy Trump is president, he has accomplished a lot of good things. It would be way worse with Kamala.

That said, it’s been a disappointing few weeks lately and there is room for improvement. And Trump has in the past shown a willingness to listen to his base when they are upset. After the recent arse kicking the GOP received in the elections, it should be a wake up call to Trump and Republicans and the voters are making that point to them. We do not want Dems back in power, it’s time to deliver on the domestic issues particularly the economy.

There are more "independent" than Republican or Democrat voters. They were close during the 2024 election between Trump and Harris.

Now, Trumps approval rating among independents is 30%

It's fine to voice concerns. The problem is the number of posters who act like every little thing is the end of the world. You have people willing to write off Trump's entire term as a failure because they didn't like something he said last week.

And then you have the terminal TDS patients who complain no matter what. A lot of the deserved vitriol for them gets transferred to the others.

It also seems less like criticism and more like an attempt to turn others from MAGA. It's less about pointing out room for improvement and more about throwing hands up in defeat.

If all criticisms posted here were presented rationally like this, this thread wouldn't exist. You didn't exaggerate, throw in any unrelated complaints, or act like the sky is falling.

The negative attitude of so many conservatives will contribute to low voter turnout and election losses, but they will never admit that they are part of the problem. Everyone here has watched sports so we should all understand the importance of momentum and morale.

Conservatives are essentially telling independents to vote democrat by constantly complaining about Trump. Why would an independent or new republican vote for Vance when conservatives spent 4 years crying about how awful this administration was?

People are pissed at Congress. Trump’s base is pissed at them. We elected them to pass a certain agenda, and they haven’t and won’t do shite.

The Nutless Ken Doll should have abolished the filibuster and they should have used it to pass that popular agenda before the midterms. He didn’t. And he has only himself to blame when Trump’s base is pissed and do not show up for him. They can all frick right off.

I’m furious with every elected republican in Congress. Every single one.
