For those that know the answer, what can the DOJ do if it is a state case?
Very little... legally at least

Can the DOJ at least sue the state of Colorado on her behalf and try to get it in front of the right judges?
Not no but frick no

There aren’t enough jail cells in the U.S. to hold all the democrats who were guilty of voter fraud in 2020.

This is the state that illegally took Trump off the ballot and then denied South American gangs were taking over parts of the city.
I’m shocked they just didn’t give her a life sentence, but it’s close at her age.

She was an election official in Colorado who fraudulently used the identity of an IT person to access data she didn't have the authority to access and transferred that data to an unauthorized third party. That third party then published the data, which included personal data of voters in Mesa County, IIRC, and all sorts of sensitive data for the elections office.
Oh and this crime was all pre-meditated as she had the cameras covering the machines turned off prior to the illegal access.
Then, she tried to steal her ex's house by filing a quit claim deed in his name the day her POA was revoked. She put the property in her name.
She isn't an angel by any means.

Convicted in Blue state Colorado. Trump hating Democrat Governor Polis appointed radical leftist Democrat Judge Matthew Barrett to preside over Peters trial. The radical leftist Democrat Colorado AG Phil Weiser who prosecuted Peters has sued to block President Trumps policies 33 times, according to his office.
Nothing to see here.
Nothing to see here.

I'm discussing legality
And this is the problem with too many people. There's more concern with rules and procedures than actual results and what is right.
No, you can't save that snakebite victim's life. You don't have the proper paperwork to administer the anti-venom.
No, you can't expose election theft if you have to use someone else's password. Using someone's password to expose corruption is far more heinous than exposing a stolen election. The system must be protected at all costs according to these statists.
No, you can't arrest that criminal for theft because the law says they can legally steal. Oh, and if you try to stop them, you will be arrested. And the simple minds are ok with this because "the law" is more important than people being able to protect their loved ones and livelihood.
Falling back on "the law" to justify corruption is something for people unable to think for themselves. "The law" says it's ok to release a black career criminal 14 times so he can murder an innocent White girl. People with common sense and integrity know this is wrong and don't need to use flimsy excuses to deflect from democrats' corruption and failed policies.

It's quite amazing to see someone look at this situation as a whole, and justify a 9 year sentence for what Peters did.
Essentially, she hired someone to take a backup of the system. And, she did that to preserve the data that the state was threatening to destroy. If you assume crimes were committed during that process, it's still insane to land on a 9 year sentence for that.
Clearly, the state wanted to destroy records. Clearly, Peters wanted to preserve them. Clearly. she was prosecuted for that stance.

Correct…she was imprisoned.
A Dem would have never been imprisoned in this situation.

I believe the state was about to break their own law. Tina was screwed either way.

So, she "broke the law" to expose egregious highly illegal violations of federal election law and to expose widespread election fraud by the state?
But she's in jail and no one else who actually broke the law and stole an election, contrary to the will of the voters and the U.S. Constitution, is in jail?
That's pretty fricked up. She sure as frick doesn't deserve 9 years in jail, let alone 1 year in jail. Of course, you're fine with it because she was helping expose election fraud to sabotage OMB. Then at the same time you'll still deny lawfare exists.
Democrats do what they have done to this woman, and J6ers, they imprison political enemies... then cry that the other side are the "fascists." Despicable.
