This is one hell of a whopper. How can a US senator possibly believe this?

They are trying to eradicate all history. So they can say things like this and people won't have the necessary tools to fact check them.

Guess widdle Timmy never heard of how the Egyptians built those pyramids. What a fricking idiot.

What's worse is, he knows a large number of ignoramuses will simply nod in agreement and never question what said.

Whew, I'm sure that's a big relief to the Greek, Roman, and Ottoman empires

Who the frick is "we".

Let's just pretend there were no slaves before the Americas were even discovered, yes, even that part is unbelievable.

How does the Senator believe black African slaves got to the United States, they willingly got on a boat?

ETA: to remove my stupidity and ignorance...

ETA: to further repent and offer a historical point of reference for the origins of slavery

history book

You mean His Story. They believe that we destroyed their libraries and great civilizations that were once in Africa. I was seriously told this by some people that I worked with.

Israeli historians actually dispute the 'slavery' story now.

The pyramids were not built on slave labor. History now indicates they were built by highly paid, highly skilled labor - a great work produced by the market.

I think the truth is far more interesting than the myth.
