Why would grown people have Disney accounts?

People dumb enough to reuse simple passwords across multiple platforms on the internet don’t get much sympathy when that bites them in the arse

Ask my 58 year-old sister-in-law. Her and her husband go damn near every year, more times than not by themselves.

It’s 6.99/month. How much cheaper could they possibly be going for?

Because watching hundreds of awesome old movies from my childhood with my kids is so lame.

Some people.

We have a 4 year old. We don't have a Disney account. I don't even understand the purpose for it.
Nothing wrong with taking the kid to Disney, but do you want them to grow up in a Disney kind of world view?

I love inspiring my kids imagination, but I don't want it to be a Disney inspired imagination. I want it to be entirely her own, with maybe some of mine, thrown in for good guidance. Homegrown spookiness and mystery.
The kind that comes when you are working, maybe planting some flowers and digging around. Finding those old fossils or maybe an arrowhead or something. Imagine the lives of those people who weren't cartoons. Real people.

I guess, if you raise your kids on Disney, you can order their imaginations in the box set?

Because you can't do both? Maybe I'll take my three year old out there to sow the fields all day. You can't own a subscription to Disney+ because heaven forbid that's the "wrong" kind of fostering of creativity. You're nuts.

It's not. We keep our kid busy. We are trying to raise a great adult.
