I’ve never been out there. Lived here all my life and grew up on the river out there. Remember when Langford wanted to turn it into a cruise ship terminal?

He had some wild ideas. Definitely ambitious but the means to the end got him landed in prison

I don’t know what they use it for tbh. There’s plenty of barge traffic there, but it’s all coal going to the power plants along the river.

I’ve always wondered why someone didn’t run game day cruises from Bham to Tuscaloosa. Leave Friday night, dock in Tuscaloosa, shuttle to the game, cruise home Sunday AM. You could add TN and LSU to those trips too.

Stamps are the least surprising thing you can find in Birmingport. There’s some good bream fishing in the area but the whole time you’re fishing you’re worried about your truck and trailer.
