I could have told him this for half of what he paid his advisors.

Basically underestimated how many sheeples are out there.

But sheeples are the majority of voters on both sides.

Well duh. Took him months of wasted time and millions spent for what? To damage himself

He’s less palatable now for 2028 than had he not run. He’ll be a footnote for the 2024 election season and people will forget who he is. Bank on it.

Ronbots, ready to break bread?

That he himself couldn’t see this in the first place, that he had to be told this even after such a failure of a campaign is why he’s now moved on to tanking his chances in 28.

Idgaf what kind of boots he wears.

Wrong time and yet he still committed political suicide, what a GOPe backed fool.

It's not Trump holding sway over voters. Voters are done with anyone backed or part of the party that has lied for 30 years on, border control, deporting illegals, budget deficits, Obama care, smaller government and many more campaign promises.

Anyone but the GOPe.

I think he legitimately believed (or the GOPe convinced him) the legal assault on Trump would work and he could be some type of MAGA/GOPe hybrid savior.

I still think the run is good experience. If Trump loses, he is one of the only decent options going forward to try to fuse these groups.

We needed DeSantis to try.

It is possible the Dems could have jailed Trump with all of their investigations, and had that happened we would have needed a strong backup.

All the Trumpettes who liked DeSantis until he ran against Trump are low IQ.

Edit: I also love all of the 20/20 rearview mirror viewings. Really insightful stuff. How many of you geniuses were confident Trump would currently be pres - either through an election win or by whatever retarded shite Q was being vague about?

Yes. I think he was weighing the decision and some dumb and parasitic politicos made a full court press on him and convinced him that he could be the replacement for Trump who could not keep going with everything coming at him.
