Thoughts on The Five

I love the show. It’s my favorite cable news show.
Greg G. Is hilarious, Waters is genius, and Perino is just brilliant.
And then there’s Juan.
I used to hate the guy but have learned to really enjoy him. There is no other cable news show that has an opposing voice that is treated with so much respect and warmth. Yes they rib him but you can tell they are all really close friends (Juan included) and it just sets all the other hateful cable opinion shows the way things should be in opinion shows.
Thoughts?

Juanngoes overboard playing devil's advocate imho.
I am a big fan of the other three you mentioned.
The wild card is always the one onnthe far left, usually a female. I like the southern gal from Fox business and the little cheerleader gal and also the conservative pundit gal.
Anyways, I guess they are going to keep rotating legs in that chair.

Katie Pavlich has been in the legs chair this week.

I like it. Today was really entertaining.
Dana is hot and smart
Greg is weird and hilarious
Jesse is always on the verge of being inappropriate and always funny
Juan is essential. He's like the pitcher at the home run derby
I think they're all very sharp for TV personalities. I like that the 5th is rotating, but those 4 could run it.

If you really pay attention, all Juan really does is parrot the Dem talking points. It’s rare that the opinion he shares on something is his own. It always seems to mimic the same things the Dems say and the female lib who is on during the mud day usually. They say the same damn things. I don’t like Juan because he rarely and I mean rarely calls out the Dem bs.

I like the show, and I like the panel. But I don’t think GG is that funny. Like someone else said, he’s not nearly as funny as he thinks he is. I don’t mind him, I just don’t think he’s funny.

Was watching the day Katie dropped an f-bomb about the Siri/Alexa-type electronics. A classic. The others ribbed her about that for a while.
Fun group to watch. Make the news fun, too. Wish Tucker would sit in occasionally.

This. He has times where no sane person would agree with the Democrats but he just mimics their stance. He has to be smarter than he comes off. Maybe not.

It’s hard for me to take them seriously. Carlson seems like that guy who is smart but thinks he is smarter than everybody else. And reminds them daily. It’s tiresome.
Hannity is the Maddow for my side of the fence. No thanks.
What I’m getting at is there isn’t much I like in cable news at the moment.
I’m just 34 but I really liked O’Reilly’s program and viewing experience. I haven’t recovered.
Edit: never mind. I really like Lou Dobbs. But you forget about that old curmudgeon at times. Like right now.
