That's the thing. Nobody is simping for Ukraine. Congress is aware of this and simply doesn't give a shite. They're doing it anyway.
It sure would be helpful if the people you elected and sent to DC would try to fricking do something about it.

You are 100% correct. The problem we face is that so many folks have been fooled into thinking the US is trying to deliver Freedom and destroy Russia all in one.

Russia was in such bad shape that even their own mercenaries decided they could take over.
If we wanted Ukraine to win the conflict, we'd have set them up to win it.
